CHAPTER 17

MARS AND LEVI POV. 

Mars was woken at four thirty my Terrence knocking at his door after a good five hour sleep. He rolled himself out bed and opened the door. Terrence bowed and said that he is here to wake him up and that Beta Mack would like to see him and Levi before supper. Mars nods and says he would like to take a shower first. Terrence nod and say he’ll be back in 30 minutes. That’s about enough time Mars say. Before Terrence leaves Mars stops him asking if his brother would be there as well/ Terrence nod saying yes he would be.

Mars takes a quick shower and dresses but before Terrence came to get him he goes to Levis room to see if he was ready for he knows how Levi gets always fussing over his looks and needing to be as perfect as he could look Mars always found that very weird and sometimes even teased him saying that a female don’t even take as long to get ready for the day as he did. Getting to Levis door he knocks and walks in finding him busy with his hair that always seem to take most of his time.

Deciding that he is going to tease him a little. It’s not a beauty pageant it’s just the Beta I doubt there will be any girls there to check you out he smiles and smirks and Levi.

Levi glares at Mars really bro if you paid a little more attention to your appearance I bet you would get a girl to smile at you at least sometimes Levi laughs.

I for one don’t need a girls attention when we were still at home and right now life is just way more complicated for that, and if you remember what we were told we already have mates out there that’s is detained to be with us so I’m not worried much about getting attention from the opposite s*x right now I’m not even ready for a mate yet.

Midnight growls in his head at that saying you will accept mate if we meet her even if it’s in the next minute the goddess would not send her our way if we not ready to meet her.

 Shut up mars say back to him I told you I’m not ready for that step yet.

I swear if you don’t accept her I’ll never let you sleep ever again ill howl day and knight in your head and plus every alpha needs hid Luna to complete him. Midnight throws back at him.

Levi was watching Mars as he knew he was having a conversation with Midnight so he waits till he is done.

I guess midnight just pissed on you about the mate thing he ask Mars. If it’s anything like the talk I got from Zeus about this mate thing… and Levi shrugged not finishing his sentence. 

Hi is being a pain in my ass about it telling me how I should just accept her even if I meet her walking out the door right now. Mars says.

I feel your pain Levi says if been told the same thing and that it’s not like I have a choice in the matter for this thing he called the mate bond and pull will bring us together no matter what. Thought being a wolf would be the coolest thing next to coco pops but now I have my doubts. Levi adds.

Zeus growls at him sin disappointment at what he says and blocks the link pissed off at his word but also knowing that they did not grow up in this world and they still need to adjust to it all.

Being a wolf is cool I’ll give you that Mars say but I guess like everything in life there is good and bad and we just have to make the best of the hand we dealt. Lifting both his palms up wards and both his shoulders in a way saying he don’t know much anymore.

 Just then there was a knock on the door. Come in Levi calls out and Mark came in bowing his head. If you ready I’ll show you to Beta Mack’s office.

Lead the way Mars says to Mark. If you’ll be so kind as to let Terrence know that I’m already on my way with you seeing as we can’t really link anyone yet.

Already done Alpha Mark replies.

Tanks you Mark and you don’t need to call us Alpha we are not yet your Alphas. I’m Mars and my brother here is Levi. 

With all due respect to Beta Mack and what his done for the pack wail you were to young you are our rightful Alpha Kings it would not feel right to not call you by you tittle.

Let’s make a deal with you for now we are just Levi and Mars till we have our coronation and the bowing thing also needs to stop till then. Levi says and I for one I’m going to need a few new friends here and if everyone keep calling me Alpha and bows when they see me I don’t think I’ll make one friend around here. Levi says to Mark.

I think I can do that Mark says smiling at Levi thinking to himself that if the things he heard about the old king and queen are true then there sons are just like them and he would be honoured to call them his kings when they finally get crowned.

So how old are you Mars asks Mark.

I’m 19 years old Mark says.

Our age Levi says. So what do you do for fun around here?

We have a diner here on the pack grounds that most of the youngsters hand out at there is the cinema drive in and then we have sports and other activity’s if you in to that kind of thing. We sometimes hold a sports day that we team up against each other and we have two football teams here. Mark ends of saying.

Have you ever been off the pack territory Mars askes?

Yes I have but not much keeping in order to keep the pack hidden we are not allowed to leave as much and its quite the hassle we first need to go to the pack witch that make you drink this vile thing to hide your scent and wolf so that you seem human. Believe me I have thrown up more than a few times  of it and when you leave you must be back before your six hours are up and that’s never enough time when you in the free world.  

How about you show us around after our meeting with the Beta then we can get to know you and Terrence. Levi suggests to Mark.

Sounds like a plane to me he says just ask Beta Mack t like me when you done and I’ll come find you. Mark says with a smile filling all kinds of happy that his future Alpha Kings wanted to hand out with him an Omega of the pack. The reach the Betas office door and Mark tells them to knock and that he will see them later.

They both nod at mark and knocks on the door. Less than a second after they hear a muffled come in and they enter one by one. Beta Mack smiles and bows as they enter and tells them to take a seat that he have a few things important things to discus with them and that it should not take to long then they can meet up with their parents in the private dining hall for supper or if they prefer he can do it in the morning.  

Let’s get it out of the way now then Mars say like you said it’s important. Mars says lifting his shoulders at his brother to see if he agrees.

Yea let’s get this out of the way because now it will bug me all night long if I don’t know what it is you wanted to say. Levi shrugs

Very well then Beta Mack says. I and the other members of the hierarchy have been bombarded with questions all day about your presents. The pack can literally feel your aura and the power you two give of can be felt by every single person in the pack. They all want to meet there future kings this have been a dream for every wolf for almost two century’s now and I can’t really blame them for wanting to meet you. What we have been thinking we can introduce you to the pack tonight after we had supper just a little meet and greet or we can hold it off till tomorrow night?

MARS AND LEVI MIND LINKS

Levi links Mars. What do you say? Night can work for me then we can reschedule with the guys for tomorrow then we have the whole day to explore.

  Don’t you think it’s a bit fast we just got here today and already they want to meet us should we not settle in first I mean the Beta knows this is all now to us. Mars says.

I agree that it’s really fast but from what Zeus have told me seeing as we were never really cut from the pack if we get introduced to the pack it will establish our link with the pack again and we will be able to mind link everyone that seems like a plus to me. Levi says I’m for the meet and greet but only if you okay with it if not I guess it can wait till you are.

If you okay with it then I guess we do it it’s going to happen sooner or later anyways mars says with a slight sigh.

Okay then we in agreement about this/ I don’t want you to feel pressured bro. Levi says.

It’s all good Mars say I’m ready if you are.

Tonight is fine with us we would like to meet the pack Mars says to Beta Mack.

Thank you Beta Mack says that will mean a lot to the pack. Two more things then we can go eat. We will leave you to settle till next week when Allegra gets here then we will start your training.   Your training will consist of learning your duty to the pack then your duty towards the kingdom and improving your fighting skills and of cause waking up and learning how to control your magic. That’s what we will be doing for this year. Once this year is up we will crown you our new Alpha Kings and then we will go visit each pack there after so that you may learn from other Alphas how they do things. You may even find your mates in this time maybe in the pack or when we go round visiting the other packs. Beta Mack ends with a concerned look on his face by the looks the boys give him. Why do you look like you swallowed some of Allegra’s potions?  He questions the boys.

The both shake their heads not wanting to say anything about the whole mate thing nether were in the mood to argue with their wolves over that sore subject again.

Since nether answered Beta Mack continues lastly for now you should get to know the pack members your age each of you will have to pick yourselves a Beta, Gamma, Delta and a Head enforcer to take our places when you step in to the roles of Alpha Kings

Do not sound too complicated mars says but can we go eat now I think my tummy is starting to eat it self already.

As they got up Levi asked Beta Mack to link Mark and Terrence to meet them right after they are before they go and get introduced to the pack…..
