LOST TWINS FIND THEIR IDENTITY AND THEIR MATE'S

CHAPTER 32

MARS AND LEVI POV.

As they make their way out to the car Mars abruptly stops in his tracks. I know we promised we will not be asking any questions but this is not me asking right now but my inner wolf Midnight is going crazy in my head growling and well just being him. He wants to know why he smells silver on you and Farrah. He says that there may be silver in your veins and that maybe why you feel so week and why you may not feel your wolves he assures me that you do indeed each have a wolf he can smell it on you. He also say that a normal wolf or even a normal Alpha may never smell that you do have a wolf, but we are not normal wolves. That part we explain once we get to our pack I promise can you just answer me this one question to put him at ease. Mars says looking down at her feeling on edge for if their truly is silver in the blood this could be potentially dangerous to their health yet he tries with everything in him to hide his fear for their health and his anger at bay.   

Thaarah lowers her head before speaking so softly that if they were not wolves they would never have heard her. I promises that once we at least on our way and out of Alpha Daniel’s territory ill answer you please just give us that little reprieve.

Reprieve? Levi asks” why would you ask for reprieve like we would condemn or punish you? Please believe us when we say that neither one of us would ever lay a finger on you to in flicked any sort of pain on you all we want to do is have you be safe and protect you. I guess we could give you an hour or so till we out and away from this territory believe me I want to get away and have the two of you as far away from her as we can as well.

Thank you …. I don’t even know what I should call you Alpha, mate or by your name I do not want to be forward and disrespect you and your brother in any way. Farrah whispers at Levi.

You can call me anything you please like we have said you are our equals any form of title we may have do not apply to you. Levi says with a smile down at her while Zeus links him saying” mate can call me Alpha anytime she wants while I have her in my bed with her under me or her on top of me while i….” You need to stop that right now Levi links back we cannot be thinking of her in that light yet not till we get to the bottom of thing that don’t sit right and I know you would want to know as well I can feel how on edge you are. Levi links back. Your right about that if anyone in this pack is responsible for why they are so fearful or if anyone laid a finger on them I will be coming back her to tear them apart. Zeus growls back at him. Can you stop that already with all these emotions all at once I we need to keep a cool head for now do you want to scare mate off before she learn to trust us? Levi asks Zeus throw the link. How can you ask me that you know I’m your primal part I can’t help that I’m all over the place it’s the bond and we are Alpha Kings we will feel the bond more than any other and that go’s crazy for us being who we are we are more powerful than a normal Alpha King and you know that. I’m sorry I know we do but please try for the sake of mate and if you can’t then I’ll have to block you out till she is more relaxed and comfortable around us when I’m around her. Levi begs Zeus. Okay fine I’ll do my best to keep my control and if I can you have my permission to block me till I regain my control do we have a deal? Zeus ask throw the link. Okay deal Levi says.

They were in the car halfway at the border waiting on the guards to open the gate for them to leave. Beta Edward came walking out of the guard’s station to their car.

Mars rolls down his window as he steps up. If you here to try and stop us from taking our mates with us think again cause there is no way in hell that we will have you stop us.

Beta Edward bows in respect before he speaks. No I am not here to stop you from taking them in fact I am pleased that they are leaving I can’t tell you why I am pleased cause I have been compelled by my Alpha but there is ways to work around completion. I may not be able to speak the words but I was never compelled not to write it down. I have a letter to give you but you need to promise me that you will only read it once you reach your pack and before you act on the information you need to promise that you will help this pack as well please I beg of you. Beta Edward says so softly so only they can hear and the guards can’t.

Mars looks over at Levi linking him before he answers the Beta. What do you think I should do? If I take this letter we may not have to wait on our mates till they are ready to tell us what’s been going on her and we could take action sooner. And now that I think about it there is a lot of things that feel out of place in this pack there maybe be more than meets the eye.

Take the letter and give him our word from what I have seen there is things that do not sit well with me even the Beta seemed to fear this Alpha and that’s not right the Beta should be close to his Alpha and be his confidant and here it looks more like the Beta is his lackey then his second in charge. Levi links back to Mars.

Mars turns back to the Beta and takes the letter promising that he will open the letter when he reach their pack and will help when the time is right. The letter was passed to mars in such a manner that it was unseen by any of the guards.

Thank you Alpha’s Mars and Levi now I have to go before Alpha Daniel notice I’ am missing. With that he bows and turn on his heals till he is behind a tree and a few seconds later they see a brown wolf almost the size of a normal Alpha wolf dash back in the direction of the pack house with his clothes in his mouth.

At the same time one of the guards come over to ask them something bowing showing his respect to the Alphas in the car. Alpha Daniel as if you would not reconsider and stay till after the ball and says he sorry for the way he acted towards your mates.

Both Farrah and Thaarah stiffens at the guards words the guard spoke. The twins felt it and looked to the guard. Tell you’re Alpha we appreciate and except his apology but seeing as we are already on our way and those that could have found their mates we may as well keep on our way and head home.

As you wish I’ll pass you’re message to Alpha Daniel. The guard made a gesture with his hands to the guard at the gate to open up and let then throw.

After being on the road for about an hour and a half of silent diving could not wait anymore he needed to know the answer to the question he asked before they started on their journey back home. Mars put a finger under Thaarah chin lifting her face so he could look in her eyes getting her attention. Can I get the answer to the question to why I can smell silver on you and your sister little mate you promised you would answer us when we were away from your old pack territory please I need to know Midnight keeps growling in my head that I should ask you giving me a headache in return.

Thaarah takes hold of her sister’s hand and sighs. As promised we will answer you but we can’t tell you who yet as promised we will tell you all you need to know when we are ready if you are willing not to push for a name we will tell you a small bit about us.

 We promised not to push you and we stand by that we just want to know about the silver for now so that we can take steps to make sure that your health is not effected and we and our wolves agree that, that may be why you have not shifted and your wolves may be dormant caused by the silver poisoning.

Farrah takes a deep breath to steal herself from the pain the memories always bring. She squeeze Thaarah’s hand. Its fine I’ll tell them the first past and you can tell them about the silver. She tells her sister holding her hand tightly. I’ll start by telling you a bit about our parents. Our father use to be the Beta of Blue Blood Pack and he was send to a neighboring pack to help with a rogue problem seeing as he was the best fighter in the pack at the time. While sorting out this problem he was called to one of the borders of the pack saying that rogues have crossed over the border. When he got there he came across a female rogue that were being attacked by male rogues and somehow she run on to the pack lands trying to escape them my father saved her and the rogues were killed. She was taken to the pack hospital and he stayed by her side till she was well again in this time they fall in love while my father took care of her. You see my father met his mate and she died in his arms that same day he never told us what caused her death. Our father stayed at the pack for about six months in this time he and our mother got married. Our mother thought that he mate was dead as well and they chose each other as mates. After the problem with the rogues was sorted they returned home our mother and father were fully mated and mother was pregnant was us at the time. After our birth and it was few days before our 10th birthday Alpha Daniel send dad to help out anther pack and he would be back in time for our birthday. So dad asked mum to accompany him as a late anniversary get away. So they left but they never made it back as the jet crashed killing everyone. We were told on the morning of our birthday about the crash, and since then our lives changed for the worst. Farrah ends wiping the tears from her eyes only realizing then that she been crying.

That’s when Thaarah took over the rest of the story.  On that day we got our first injection containing silver we have been receiving them for the past 9 years a small amount once a week. We would be sick for the first two days after the injection but by day three we would feel strong enough to get up from bed and carry on with our day to day work in the pack house. Thaarah was crying now as well.

Mars and Levi was furious and pissed they felt murderous but they both reined in their inner wolves as to not scare their mates the both hugged their mates close with noses in the necks of their mates inhaling deeply to calm down and before they let the aura slip because they were not in the parameters of the magical shield that protects the pack and the world from feeling their aura.

Midnight and Zeus was growling begging to be set free but yet knowing they can’t yet. They linked Mars and Levi to say that they know they can’t do anything right now but as soon as they get back home to the pack and they have settled their mates they need to go for a run to release some of this anger they feel. Mars and Levi promised they would do so and hit the gym or punch a few trees if needed because they need to be calm around their mate. But first they will need to read the letter they got from Beta Edward. s**t we forgot about that damn the run we need to read that letter first maybe there are more things explained in the letter. Both Midnight and Zeus links back. When they finally stopped their internal conversation with their wolves they noticed that both their mates have cried themselves to sleep. They both life their mates to their laps and held them to their chest and relaxed back in their seats mind linking Owen the worrier that’s driving them to wake them up as soon as the cross the border in to their packs territory. Not long after the twins fall asleep till they were woken up by Owen telling them they just passed throw the magical shield and they are now not far from the pack house. Mars linked him back” thank you can you please link Beta Mack ask him to gather the hierarchy in his office in about an hour and ask him to get everyone out of the pack house or at least in their rooms I don’t want to scare and overwhelm our mates with too many people just yet tell him to inform our parents well will come see them after we spoke to the Beta and have him send staff over to the Alpha house and get it ready we will be moving in there later or by tomorrow at the latest tell him we will explain everything in the meeting and lastly could you have the pack doctor send to our rooms and ask Lilly if she would be so kind as to ask her mother to make us some chocolate chip pancakes one plate with blue berries and the other with strawberry’s our mates must be hungry by now we will take the food in the small dining room on our floor after we have spoken to doctor Mellissa before we go to the meeting.

MARS AND LEVI MIND LINK POV.

Mars laid his head back and linked Levi. Telling him everything he just told Owen to get rolling then he sighed I just hope our mates will be okay and the silver they were given over the years have not done any serious damage to them when I find out who is responsible for this I promise you he will die a slow and painful death he will suffer every day for nine years like they did ill make it my job if it’s the last thing I do.

I know what you mean I want to rip his head off but that would be to easy a death for him he will pay that I promise you. But for now we need to calm down you have seen how easily they scare we do not want them to fear us or our pack we need to trust that whatever took place at their old pack will never happen her. Levi link back at Mars.

I know, I know at least I feel better knowing they are her and we can keep them safe from harm now. There is something I need to ask you and for Goddess sake don’t flip out it’s just a question and I would never act on it. You have felt the pull towards your mate right but why do I feel that same pull to Farrah as well I don’t understand that.

Levi sighs I thought I was losing it because I feel the pull to Thaarah and its starting to feel just as strong as with Farrah I don’t know what to make of it. I think we need to speak to the elders about this.

I agree we need to do that before one of act on it believe be brother I do not ever want to hurt you like that but this mate bond is powerful and what’s weird is that I do not feel jealous or possessive with you around Thaarah and I feel like I can kill every other male that even glance their way unmated and even mated.  Mars says.

Same with me no jealousy towards you where every other male are concerned I feel like going on a killing spree. Levi links back feeling exasperated.

THIRD PERSON POV.

Then they felt the car stop and when they looked up they were in front of the pack house and Thaarah and Farrah have woken up. Owen opened the car door for them and they help their mates out taking them directly to the private dining room with the comfy couches on their floor. Upon getting there they made their mates sit down and lit a fire to warm up the room. After explaining to them that they have called the pack doctor to check them over to see if there are any bad effects to then having to inject silver for so many years. Less than a minute after there was a knock on the door the twins called out in unison and Doctor Mellissa walked in.

Mars, Levi she greet the twins as she walks in looking at the females sitting together on the couch. What can I do for you this early in the morning? She asked the twins with a raised eyebrow questioning the other guests in the room.

Take a seat doc and we will explain. Levi says suddenly feeling shy at the way to doc is looking at him with a knowing smirk. Doc sat down on an arm chair waiting on one of them to speak.

Firstly doc what I’m about to say may not leave this room I’m not ordering you but I’m asking you as someone we respect in this pack.

She waved them off there is no need for you to ask me that I am a doctor and if there is a patient for me to treat then doctor patient confidentiality comes in to effect and other then that my loyalty will always lay by my Alphas.

Thank you doc just know we were not questioning your loyalty by any means we are just not ready for the pack to know we have found our mates there is still things to clear up before then.

Doc Mellissa smiled at them but something told her to not approach the female’s strait but to take caution in doing so. Congratulations on finding your mates. She said smiling. Now how can I help you?

Well doc our wolves smelled silver on our mates and when we asked them about that they told us that for the past 9 years they have been injected with small amounts of silver once a week were they were very sick for two days and by the third they could finally gather enough strength to get out of bed even thou they haven’t said so it must have been very painful and I bet that day three must have been hell on them. They are also under the impression that they are wolf less but somehow we can smell that they indeed do have wolves I think that it’s the silver that’s keeping their wolves dormant hence why they have never made contact with their wolves or shifted yet. Mars says and so many emotions crossed his face sad, anger, fury, pity, and hate.  

When was the last time they have been given silver. Doc asked the twins.

They both looked over to their mates for confirmation.

They were both looking at hands in their laps. It….it has be…, be…, been about se…, se...Ven days since or last in…, in…, injection. Thaarah answers not once looking up from her hands.

By my calculations after we have drained as much of the silver via ether a blood transfusion or dialysis to clean their blood and they have a good diet plan containing a high level of protein to build their strength they should have contact with their wolves in about two weeks and maybe a month or less they will have their first shift. If you bring them in tomorrow we can do a few test and check a few things to see which option would suit them best seeing as they have no ties in this pack you two as their mates would be the only once that will be able to give blood if the blood transfusion is the best option. Doc finish off saying. But for now I recommend they eat meals high in protein like meat, poultry, fish and eggs and plenty of rest till you come see me tomorrow I’ll get things in motion from my end.

Thanks doc then we will see you tomorrow. Doc if you don’t mind could you ask the cook to add some eggs and bacon with our breakfast. Levi asked.

No problem I was on my way to the kitchen for breakfast anyway as well before I start my day at the clinic. Doc said as she got up making her way to the door and bowing as she exits the door.

After the door closes Mars spoke. I do not want to push you but would you want to do this have you blood cleaned of the silver and get your health back up. He ask their mates. We only want to do what’s best for you but we don’t want to force you either or make you feel like you have no choice in the matter.

Thank you for saying that we actually have a choice but if the doc can help us in becoming what we are meant to be I for one don’t see why not have always felt that there is a part of me that missing and there is this emptiness inside of me. Thaarah says then she looks up and make eye contact with Farrah taking both her hands in hers “what do you say sis please tell me in not going to have to go  

Of cause not Thai not only will I be there for you I’ll be going throw this as well if I have a wolf as Levi said then yes I would do anything to be able to be one with her she said smiling at her sister squeezing her hands and Thaarah smiled back at her.

OMG! Lee did you see that f**k if that’s not the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life I never thought a smile from a mate could make my heart beat this fast. Mars linked at his twin.

I’m going to have to agree with you on that damn that smiles do things me that I can’t fully explain even to you and you I feel like I can bust with happiness right now. f**k how could I have once thought that I’m not ready for this? Mars ask.

I guess you heard our… but before Thaarah could finish he sentence they we interrupted by a knock on the door.

Come in! Levi called out with a small growl.

The door opened up and in came one of the staff member pushing in a food cart with their breakfast on.

Morning alphas she says bowing at the twins then she looks at the females in the room good morning young lady’s Bev the kitchen hand says.

Thank you for bringing breakfast up Bev I hope we did not inconvenience you too much? Mars asks.

No bother at all young Alphas none at all I hope you enjoy your food I’ll send one of the omegas up to retrieve the plates and the cart once you done. And then she left with a bow as a show of respect.   

Mars and Levi took the plates with food and cutlery and put it on the small dining table next to the double glass doors that led to the balcony then invited their mates over to come sit and eat. They pulled out chairs for them to sit and then the twins took their seats and started to eat watching their mates eat small bites they were not even halfway throw their food when the both pushed their plates to the side signalling that they ate enough.

Mars and Levi both look up arching an eyebrow. You promised to not ask questions Farrah reminds them. The brothers sigh in unison and lost their appetites as well pushing their plates away.

You must be tired how about we show you to your rooms and you go rest while we get to the meeting we have planned after breakfast.

Can we sleep in the same room please this is all new to us we would just like that little bit of security if that’s okay.

Sure that’s will be okay your wishes is our command. With that they showed them to a room and bid a peaceful rest each kissing their mate on the forehead and left the room saying that they can find something to sleep in, in the bathroom. Mars and Levi made their way to their office where they know everyone will be waiting for them…
