Across the room at the corner booth was the five guys talking to the nervous brunette waitress who looks like she's about my age rudely.
I feel bad for the girl and continue to watch just in case they needed a good punch to the
face.
Elizabeth came back a minute later with our order. Carter's usual was a strawberry milkshake and some fries.
"This is your usual?" I turn to him, surprised.
"What can I say? My milkshake brings all the girls to the yard." His remark made me
laugh.
"Come on, Sandy. Show us what you've got." One of the guys grab the waitress, whom I assume is Sandy, by her arm. She jumps a bit in surprise. The rest of the guys cheer in their seats.
