Shane spent the good part of an hour coming up with an acoustic guitar part to go along with the minute-long violin section on his computer, but he was still having issues. There was something about the notes being played that didn’t fit with what he thought should have been the right chords … as if the melody the violin played didn’t fit any kind of structure. Yet, somehow, it still sounded pleasing to the ear. He set the guitar down, tired and frustrated, ready to move on to something else but couldn’t quite motivate himself to get up from his chair.
