Andy hated having to wear pants and a long-sleeved shirt in the summer. Even in Northern Ontario, July could get pretty hot. He couldn’t wait for autumn. That was his preferred season, except for the rain.
He walked inside and let the air conditioning wash over him, cooling him down. His first instinct was to go upstairs and change into shorts and a T-shirt, but the voices coming from the other room made him rethink that.
As he entered the living room, he found Tanya and the girls on the couch, watching a Disney movie. He couldn’t see the screen from his position at the entryway, so he wasn’t sure which one. He’d watched none of those movies before, so the song currently being sung provided him no clues.
