I was careful to stay in control after the night Raina lost hers. I wanted to ask Devon about it, but I was worried he’d get angry at my lack of caution– and a big fat ‘I told you so’.
I heard that Joffrey got second in the Junior Alpha Tournament. I assumed he’d stay there with Eliza and the rest of them who went, until everything was over, but I had a bad feeling when I saw his car parked outside of the Alpha’s house, remembering how he was before they left.
