Aurora
The entire room went quiet. The environment became tense and awkward. There were little murmurs all around. I looked through the crowd, to see their anticipation of this encounter.
I quickly snapped back and returned my gaze towards her. “Hello Ember.” I replied coldly. Her facial expression turned red, as I called her directly. She continued gazing at me intently.
“Wow, it's sad that no matter what some people do, you can’t put lipstick on a pig.” The whole crowd gasped in awe of her utterance. I clenched my fists, yet my wolf reminded me that I should lose my cool as that was her intention. I took a weary sigh, as I forced a smile.
