Snake

3 months later

It was mid July and it had been one of the hottest summers Colorado had gotten in years. It was going on record as the hottest summer in Glenwood Springs in 100 years. Temperatures had been over 100 for 35 days straight, we had no rain.

I shot Dani a text to get ready I was picking her up in a half hour. We were heading to the lake for some R&R. She had been working days at the bar for the last six weeks. I run to the clubhouse and change. I'm actually nervous my way to Dani's place. She had stayed with me after the incident with the Skulls and Bones Club. It's been quiet since then to quiet. No retaliation nothing but i have a feeling there will be a s**t storm in the future. So we've had no choice but to sit and wait to see if they come after us. I pull into Dani's driveway and jump off my bike. Dani runs out the door and runs and jumps in my arms and kisses me. "I missed you today. This is what we need, a day to relax. I hand her back to Dani and grab our bags off the bike. Dani and Olivia are just gabbing away as we walk towards the water. I find a spot and I spread out the blanket. Dani gives Heaven a big kiss and hands her back to Olivia."You know I'll watch her any time you and Jax want a night out, I don't think Snake would object to a night with with his good daughter, would you hon?" I smile at Dani, "they already know I'd watch that sweet angel any time. She's a perfect angel." I sit by Dani on the blanket. "You looked good holding Heaven, do you think you'll ever want to have children Snake?" Dani asked me, "I honestly never had thought about it till I met you, but in the last four months I've been with you I could actually see me as a dad. I know you'd be sexy as f**k carrying my child. Dani's eyes got wide and bright as I told her I could picture us as parents. "I would love to be a mom cause I know I'd love my child and protect them and teach them. I'd do everything differently than my parents did with me."

We walk down to the water and have the best afternoon in months. I love seeing the way Dani is smiling and having the time of her life. She's playing with all the kids and she's just enjoying herself.

Around 9 pm the sun is finally going down. I pratically have to drag Dani out of the water. We say our good byes to the last bit of the club that's still there and head for her house. Dani climbs on behind me "Thank you Steven, I had the best time today. I haven't had that much fun in years. Besides all my times with you."

"Well babe, we're going do this kind of days more often. I loved seeing you smile." " I'll always smile with you in my life."

I head for Dani's house. Along the way, I look up and notice the full moon and how bright the stars are out tonight. I wonder if Dani wants to sit out by the fire tonight and relax. I notice she is way to relaxed, I bet that girl of mine
