Snake

I woke to Dani Tangled in my arms. She looked at peace and she slept with a smile. After having her break down and confide in me yesterday, I knew she was free of a burden she had carried around for so many years. My Angel was at peace. And I was going to do everything in my power to make sure she stays happy. Cause ill be damned if I'm going to let anyone hurt my woman. She is going to get the very best in life. I've noticed that she's got photos of sunrises and sunsets all over her house. She's got some talent. I slide out of bed and use the bathroom. I'm letting her sleep today. Yesterday was hard on my girl. After I use the bathroom I go out to the kitchen and start a pot of coffee. I notice a bucket list on her refrigerator. She has so many things written on it but the one that stands out the most is she wants to open an art gallery to display her photos in and locals art works and photos. Im thinking I could definitely help her out with this and make it a Christmas to remember for her. I know it's only April but that gives me plenty of time to aquire a building and have it ready to go by Christmas for her. I walk in the living room and gaze upon all her photos on the walls. She is something, these photos are amazing. The way she capturers each sunset and sunrise. She has them dated. There's not one that's the same. Every single one is different. How she captures such beauty in just a simple photo astoundish me. I hear her stirring and I turn to see her leaning up against the wall in nothing but my shirt "Good morning angel, how did you sleep." "Better than I have ever slept in my life, I'm glad your still here."

I look at her "why wouldn't I be here angel, I done told you your it for me. I have no plans of leaving. I'm gonna be a part of your life until the day I take my last breath. I love you Dani." I walk towards her and wrap my arms around her. "I'm putting you back in bed young lady Olivia gave you the next two days off and your going to rest and let me take care of you. I'm going to spoil you rotten. You deserve to be treated like a spoiled princess and I'm just the prince to do that for you. So what ever you need for the next 48 hours you just tell me I'm at your beacon call my princess."

"You don't have to do that Snake." " I know I don't have to I want to." I pick her up and she wraps her legs around my waist. I carry her to her bed and lay her down. I don't want to spook the deer and ruin her pictures. She's got her camera set up on a tripod and I can see she's holding a remote so she can snap pictures when she wants to. She must sense me cause she turns the tripod towards me and snaps a few pictures of me standing on her porch. "These ate going to turn out amazing. I have a spot I want to take you to at sunset and take some pictures of the sunset with you in the background, maybe some of us together if you want." "I like that idea babe, we'll take my bike, there's a spot I want to take you to. It's somewhere I go to think and I think you'll like it."

" Well then what are we waiting for babe let's go get ready and have some fun!" She handed the last two apples to the deer patted thier heads and kissed thier noses and turned back to me. She took four five steps, then ran rest of the way. Her running towards me was the sexiest thing I'd ever seen. We stop off at a outlet mall about 15 minutes outside of town and she picks out a gold shimmer bikini and a blood red bikini. f**k I can't wait to see them on her. We head back into town and take Willows Drive all the way to the very top. For being late April it got up in the upper 90s as we rode up to lookout point the temperature dropped to about 90 it was perfect riding weather. I felt Dani completely relax against my back and I could feel her smile in my back. I was liberating her today she was letting all the stress completely go as we rode up the highway. I cut off about 1/4 mile from the top and took a bike path till we got to a very secluded spot. It had a natural hot spring along with a small pond of crystal blue water. Plus Dani would have a perfect view of the sunset and be able to get amazing photos.

After seeing that she wanted to open an art gallery I text Jax and had him start looking for a building that would be perfect for her gallery. I was planning on working my ass off to get it ready by Christmas Eve.

I pull my bike up under a wheeping Willow tree and Dani slides off. I hold two prospects bring up a picnic lunch, a couple bottles of Moscato wine and a 6 pack of Budweiser for me along with a blanket and towels. Dani got off the bike and I took her helmet off and then mine hanging them on the handlebars of my bike. I take my hand in her hand and pull her to the opening on the other side of this huge wheeping Willow tree and the prospects out did themselves. Dani gasps when she sees what I planned for her without her knowing. "Oh my God Snake is this for us?" "Of course it is Link and Dragon set it up for us, I wanted it to be special for you. I told you I was going to spoil you." " Oh Snake its perfect. They out did themselves.". The prospects set up string lights throughout the trees, they had the fake candles in different colors set all around the blanket. There was a boom box playing soft country music. They had 2 bottles of Dani's favorite wine Barefoot Moscato wine on ice. I picnic basket with lots of food cause I wasn't planning on taking Dani home tonight. We were staying here tonight. The prospects set up a tent with a blow up mattress inside. And a few extra blankets. They had the fire pit set up ready to go for once it got dark. I took her off grid just to relax. The prospects weren't far though. I had them staking out our road they were told to park the truck at the entrance of this bike path and not leave or let a soul up to where we are. "If you hadn't guessed it by now we're spending the night here that way you get your sunset and sunrise pictures." Dani looked shocked but amazed at the same time. " Well let me get my camera set up for the sunset. I want us in some of the pictures. I can set my camera up to do different types of shading,it can use us as a silhoette with the sun setting behind us. From where the hot springs is we can stand in the hot water with the steam coming up around us as the sunsets but we have to do them quickly. We have a 20 minute window to get all the poses in that I have in mind so at 520 exactly we need to be standing in the hot springs."

At exactly 5:20pm we were in position and her camera started clicking away. She took at least 100 photos of us in that 20 minute window. "I can't wait to see how they turn out." I told Dani as she was putting the trip pod and her camera away. "If they turn out as good as I think they will there going to be epic, but right now I'm starving. Let's eat." Dam when that girl smiles at me my heart melts more and more. I grab her arm and pull her into my chest and give her a deep kiss that leaves us both breathless. "Ok let's eat, I just had to kiss you first." One more quick kiss to her nose and we walk over to the picnic blanket and sit down. We both dug in. There was grilled chicken, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, potato wedges and then double chocolate chip cake for dessert. We were both so full when we got done eating it took all my effort to get up to get the fire going. I looked over at Dani and she was napping. Dam she looks like pure perfection laying there her hair in two braids laying over her front. There's no worry in her face, she looks happy and relaxed. She's just so God dam gorgeous how did I ever get this f*****g lucky.

I start the fire and check in with the prospects, they let me know that not a soul has come up the road at all tonight. Had 5 or 6 cars head down about two hours ago. Got pictures of license plates so we can run them tomorrow. Ok well stay alert anything don't feel right, call me don't hesitate. Those who hesitate, die!

I don't want to wake my angel up but I want to get her in the tent so she don't get ate up by mosquitos. "Dani babe, I you to wake up, just long enough to climb in the tent." I stand up and unzip the tent, I pull down the covers on the air mattress and come back out and scoop her up carrying her inside the tent. I lay her down and go out zip up the tent so no bugs get in there. I make sure all the foods up and secure then I disconnect the lights and the radio only leaving the fire going. It's in a contained fire pit so I stock it up with more fire wood and replace the wire cover. I let the prospects know we're going to sleep. And alert him asap if anything comes up if not he'll see them in the morning.

I unzip the tent and go inside rezipping up the tent behind me. I remove my 9 mm Glock and lay it undernearh the pillow and then I climb in beside Dani and she automatically finds me and snuggles up to me and wraps her arms around me and lays her head on my chest. She automatically does this every single night as she falls asleep. I think it's the cutest thing she does in her sleep without even realizing she's doing it. I have definitely found the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with.
