My alarm wakes me and at first st I forget where I'm at then I remembered that Snake had took me camping. I'm in the middle of nowhere in a tent and I couldn't be happier. I slide out of bed and yawn. Even though I know I fell asleep early last night but I feel like I could sleep for another 24 hours. Since revealing my past to Snake and Olivia I am less stressed but my body is tired. I carried that stress for so many years that I didn't realize how carrying a secret tires your body the way it has mine. I wasn't ready to tell anyone but now that I have I'm kinda glad I have. My only hopes is that my father just stays wherever he is. It's been nine years since he's hurt me but six years since I've seen him. Those stupid waste of air cops we have in this town wouldn't listen to me when I told them that it was my father that killed my mother. They said they saw the video but they never saw the killers face. How could they be so stupid that they couldn't see his reflection in the car door. I wondered if it was my imagination just wanting to see my dad's face but I know it wasn't. I know if I could get my hands on that video now I could show Snake and the rest of the MC what I'm talking about. I know I hate my father and was devastated when my mom was killed but I know in my heart it was my father that killed her, I just know it.

Not wanting to think about him anymore I head outside and set up my tripod and capture the best sunrise of my life. It had started raining so not only did I catch the beautiful sunrise with the mist of the rain and the way the sun bounced off of the trees then appeared a double rainbow. They were bright and huge. I have seen rainbows from my yard but to catch a double rainbow from 5500 feet in the sky was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. I was so excited and in awe of the pictures I took. I instantly started laughing, "I'm so sorry love but I just got the most amazing pictures of the sunrise and a double rainbow. I was so excited I didn't even think I'd startle you when I jumped on the bed. Forgive me? " I give him my best puppy eyes. We finish getting dressed and walk out of the tent and there is two young guys about my age standing by this huge Dodge truck wearing vests that say 'prospect' one if them is Dragon and the other one is Link. "It's ok Link, Snakes just being a big ole bully. You behave yourself Steven. He's just giving you s**t, its all I fun, right Link?" Link nods his head. "It's ok, all good Link". Snake sneers at him "You've always shown respect so I'll let it slide. You both get all this cleaned up, make sure that fires out real good then meet us up at the mountain diner and we'll eat and head back home." I smile up at Snake signalling he done good by inviting them to breakfast.

"Ok boss, shouldn't take us to long, we'll be 15-20 minutes behind you guys." Dragon responds as Snake swings his leg over his bike putting his helmet on then helping me with my helmet. He helps me on the back of his bike and we head for the mountain diner.

We pull into the parking lot of the Mountain Diner about 20 minutes later. We get off the bike and hang our helmets on the handlebars and head in. "I've lived here all my life and I never knew this diner was here, how is that possible." I tell Snake as we walk in the diner. "I don't know how cause they've got the best breakfast I've found since Ruthies in Texas."

"I guess you could say I never got out that much and not having friends or a car I only went where I could walk to."We enter the diner and it's not to busy.

A older waitress with gray hair says to us "Y'all sit where you like to I'll be right on over with menus in a jiffy." We find a booth in the back corner, Snake sits facing the door so he can see anyone that enters the diner. I sit right beside him. The waitress walks up to us and hands us two menus. "We got two more coming in a few minutes." "The waitress smiles at us "No worries I'll bring em menus when they get here. My name is Sue Lynn, what can I get ya all to drink this fine morning?" We both order coffee and orange juice. "Alright then I'll go grab those beverages for ya and be back in a jif." She walks off and starts on our drinks just as link and Dragon pull in, they walk in and Snake waves them on back to us. "You guys order yet?" Dragon asks as he sits down. "Nah, we got coffees and juice coming, figured we wait for you guys to get here to order food. Sue Lynn comes back with our drinks and goes back and gets link and Dragon coffee. "Y'all figure out what ya want?"

I order the ham and cheese omlet with side crispy hash browns and a waffle. Snake goes for the Lumberjack breakfast which is 4 eggs, 4 ham, bacon, and sausage, hash browns, toast and 4 pancakes. Link and Dragon go for the same thing as Snake. "Dang you boys hungry this morning?" After they all laugh. "I'll be back in a few minutes with your order. She walks away. " You think she'll get our order correct she didn't even write it down." Link questions her ability. "I'd guarantee she's been doing this at least 20-25 years and probably been here her whole life,she's got our order no problem. She could probably take a table of 20 people and not write down a single persons order and not screw it up." I say to Link.

We all sit there chatting for a few minutes when Sue Lynn comes back and brings us our food and sets our plates down in front of us, refills our coffee, tells us to enjoy and she'll be back in a bit. I see two other waitress walk in and I've got to say there very pretty young gals. They walk by our table and thier eyes go to Snake and smile. "Hey sexy guys, how y'all doing this morning?" They say to Snake. Trying to be all flirty. Before any of the guys say anything I give them a death glare, "Me and my husband here are just amazing. I'm assuming you were asking me as well, right?" That shuts thier mouths real quick and they scurry off to the back real quick not saying another word to us. "Aww did I hurt thier feel bads Snake." I say as I giggle at the way I just cleaned my man to some little hussy's. "Dam bitches,can't see me must think invisable or some s**t like that." "Dam Snake, can't wait to see how she puts the honeys in place at the clubhouse." They all laugh. " Let's just say any b***h, honey or slut slut gets near my man and trys to make a move they'll know who I am real quick, I've waited all my life for a man like Steven and I'll be damned if I let some other chic think they can step in and take my man from me, oh hell no, and did I day hell no cause I meant HELL NO!" All three of the guys look at me and bust out laughing. Once Snake stops laughing he kisses me again. "I love you, my fiesty Angel, I only have eyes for you and only you, till the day I die." Snake whispers in my ear. I shiver, I love hearing his low growl he gets when he whispers in my ear. " I love you too Steven."

We finish eating our breakfast and pay Sue Lynn leaving her a $50 tip. "Y'all come back soon, ya hear. Have a great day." She hollers at us as we walk out the doors. We wave to her and the prospects jump in the truck and we get on Snakes bike. He looks across the parking lot when something catches his eye. "Hey Dragon stay on our tail the whole way home, I dont like the looks of those three over there, do not allow them behind us by any means."Snake tells me to hold on tight were getting f**k out of here. He starts the bike up and we burn rubber out of the parking lot. "You know how to shoot a gun right babe?" Snake asks me as we're flying down the mountain. "Yeah I can shoot pretty good, why? What's going on Snake?"

"I'm not sure babe, I just got a bad feeling about those thugs at the diner. Don't like the way they were watching us, especially you when we walked out and they've been following us since the diner. I hear Snake on his phone calling Jax telling him the situation and he gets our exact location and tells us to keep our current path home and stay alert helps on the way. I knew something wasn't right when Snake told me to reach in the saddle bag and grab the 9mm rueger he has in there and put it in my waist band. And if says the word to pull and shoot that's what I'm to do. I know he's always carrying his revolver with him. I feel it when my arms are wrapped around him. Link and Dragon beep thier horn behind us telling us speed up, dumb f***s ate gaining on us. We're already doing 80 mph I know we can't go much faster, Snake could take the chance of wrecking around the turns if he goes much faster. I'm holding on for dear life afraid of falling off the bike. I hear Snake on the phone with Jax telling him the situation. I don't know what Jax tells him except reinforcements are 5 minutes out just pray Dragon and Link can keep them off our ass.

Dragon and Link are doing thier best to hold off the three bikers but one of them gets by on the shoulder just as Jax and the rest of the crew including the prospects come into view. They all have guns drawn and within 10 seconds all three bikers are dead laying on the road.

We don't stop till we get about ten miles up the road and pull into a rest stop. I'm still shaking my ass off and I'm in tears. Snake wraps his arms around me "Shhhh darlin' your ok. We're safe now. Who ever they were there taken care of now. They won't won't be back." I'm crying so hard at the moment, I don't register anything. "I just want to go home please. Please." I studder out the words. "Of course babe, I'll take you home just let me just talk to prez for a minute then we'll get out of here ok." I only nod as Jax walks towards us shaking his head. Link and Dragon instantly wrap thier arms around me as I fall to the ground from the shock of what just happened. "Hey Dani you ok girl?" Link asked me as him and Dragon help me up. "No, who were them guys and why were they chasing us like that?" "I'm not sure who they were in the 5 months we've been here we made sure we set up in uncharted territory and we haven't heard of any rival gangs close to us." Dragon was telling me this when Snake came back walking towards me. "Any particular reason you both are hold my girl?" Snake said with that jealous look in his eyes. " Yeah, when you went to talk to Prez. She started to pass out and we both caught her right before she hot the ground, her body was in shock over the s**t that just went down and we didn't want her falling!" Dragon spit out with a tone of spitefulness. "Dam babe, I'm sorry I didn't think about that! Forgive me love, and Dragon, Link my apologies." When I was growing up there was a mean nasty motorcycle gang that would ride threw town three or four times a year causing trouble disrupting businesses harassing all the town then they'd leave. I think they were called the Skull & Bones or something like that. The last time they came threw was October last year they upped thier game and burnt two business down, kidnapped, r***d, and killed three young girls that were at a party for Halloween. The girls were from Aspen and thier bodies were found a mile from the diner we just ate at. We're such a small town that our police department was at a loss trying to get leads on the case. And with it being in two different county's it made it hard. From what I read in the newspapers they just eventually left it as a unsolved case. But with it only being end of April it's about time for them to roll through town. Like every 6 months they come through like clockwork, stir up s**t, humiliate, beat up people, defile the neighborhood and then leave a path of destruction on thier way out of town."

"Well let's all get back to the clubhouse and investigate this gang and try to figure out what our next step is going be." Jax tells us.

"You going to be ok on my bike babe or you wanna ride in the cage?" Snake asked me, "I go where you go." That's all I said as I walked over to his bike put my helmet on and got on it. Jax looked at Snake and threw his head back laughing so hard I started giggling."Guess you got your answer huh brother?" Jax asked Snake "I suppose so" he walks towards me an gives me a wink, "I'm so gonna punish your sexy ass later on for that one my little vixen." He slides on his helmet and starts the bike up and we ride back to the clubhouse in formation. Jax and Snake with me on his bike leading the way. Behind us was Gunner and Jr., the next row was Dingo and Shorty, then Luka and Zip and a prospect I hadn't seen before then Dragon and Link were in thier truck at the rear. All this happened on Devil's Angels territory so if that club wanted war I was sure they'd done f****d with the wrong club. I knew I was safe with this group of brothers protecting me.
