Upon returning to Arlenia, Willow was greeted by a driver Julian had sent to take her directly to Goldenridge Estate, one of Julian's other residences.
The differences between Goldenridge Estate and the villa in Amethyst Bay were striking.
The Amethyst Bay villa was luxurious yet inviting, with an underlying warmth to its design. Goldenridge Estate, on the other hand, was stark and cold, dominated by a gray color scheme. It felt oppressive, devoid of life or any sense of comfort.
The door was opened by an elderly man in his sixties, whom Willow instantly recognized as Julian's butler, Tristan Whitaker.
"Julian is in his study," Tristan informed her as he led her to the sitting room.
"Please wait here for a moment."
Willow nodded politely, thanking him before settling down to wait.
