Chapter 58

Shuji was busy taking care of those who were commiserating with his mother when he turned around and saw his friend Akatsuki and his ex-girlfriend Erika with Hyo. Shuji turned behind them when he saw the person he didn't expect to see again, accompanied by many bodyguards and an old woman.

Shuji's eyes immediately searched for his sister before he looked at his friend who called his name.

"Brad, when we found out earlier that auntie died, we immediately got a ticket so we could come to you. It's a good thing this is your address." Akatsuki said to his friend when he immediately approached.

"You just called me," Shuji replied to his friend, there were relatives watching Shuji talking to.

"It's okay, brad, we want to see you," Akatsuki said to his friend.

Shuji accompanied them inside the house and his friends and ex-girlfriend changed clothes.

"Are you okay?" Hyo asked his cousin's ex-boyfriend.

"It's obvious he's not okay, his mom died, how long will you be here in Japan?" Akatsuki replied to his friend, fixing his messy hair.

Hyo ignored Akatsuki's rudeness and went to look for Miku.

"I'm not sure how long Mama's funeral will last, I won't be here for long, only Miku will be left here because she's still studying, Papa said that when my sister graduates, she'll live in the Philippines so she can have someone to be with," Shuji answered the people they were talking to as they walked out of the house.

They only stopped when they came across her father and Lixue's father. Shuji bowed and his companions were surprised so they just nodded.

"Sir," Shuji greeted Lixue's father, Akatsuki looked for Lixue, he was alone but with the old woman.

"He's Shuji your son with her?" Shuji heard the old woman say, Shuji didn't understand right away.

Shuji wasn't good at speaking English so he didn't understand right away. He went to elementary and high school but he was really weak in English, he didn't go to college, he used to rebel against his parents.

"Yes, he's my son," Raiden answered and the people next to Shuji spoke.

"Uncle, we sympathize with your family," Erika said, causing Raiden's gaze to turn away.

"Thank you, how did you know about this?" Raiden asked.

Shuji spoke to his father and looked back and forth.

"You can accompany him if you stay here, kumpadre, go to class and change," Raiden said, looking back at his companions, they should go inside the house before they met his son.

Raiden talked to his companions and ignored his son.

"That's Leatrice's daddy, she is Leatrice's stepmother?" Hyo said they followed the person they were talking to with their eyes.

"Maybe, her aura is rudeness, that's why the father and Lixue can't get along because she has a bad stepmother," Akatsuki whispered to his companions.

Shuji scolded them even though no one understood what they were talking about, Shuji didn't want it to spread and be subtitled.

Shuji just stood to the side, his sister and her suitor, the two of them buying food for the sympathizers at home.

After Akatsuki finished the ritual, Hyo and Erika approached Shuji.

"Leatrice knows that your mother has passed away, but she didn't come here today, did you talk?" Akatsuki asked his friend.

"She didn't call me even though she knew what happened to Mama, we weren't close enough to talk to each other, she and Papa were godfather and godchild, I just don't know if Papa talked to her," Shuji told his friend.

Hyo and Akatsuki told Shuji that Leatrice had returned to Manila and that's when they found out that his mother had died when she spoke to the gay manager on his cellphone.

"Maybe she's busy?" Shuji told them, offering them a seat at an empty table outside.

They went and Akatsuki asked his friend where Miku was.

"Buying food to cook for the guests, wait.." Shuji said, noticing that his sister hadn't come home for a long time.

Shuji took out his cellphone to text his sister. After a few hours, they heard a car stop and they all turned around. Miku got out with her suitor, Yukio.

They took the paper bags full of their purchases from the trunk. Shuji raised an eyebrow at his sister before shaking his head. He just talked to his friends and ex-girlfriend while Hyo silently watched.

Lixue first entered the underground compound where she works under the main company of her godfather Raiden's family.

"Captain," the agents called out to Lixue as she walked towards her office.

"Agent Zero," greeted Agent Two and Agent Three who she saw walking together.

"How was your mission?" Lixue asked them, she was not an introvert to her fellow agents.

There are two types of Lixue, the extrovert and the introvert. If she is comfortable with the people she is talking to, she becomes an extrovert. When she doesn't like the person she is talking to or being talked to, she shows only a limited amount of what she is like an introvert.

"A bit of a miss, captain, asking for a tip is the same as what you're doing, fortunately, we both got some legit info, we'll investigate again in the secret room, we heard that the boss's wife died, some of our agents are going tomorrow to pay their respects, you, agent Zero, are you going?" Agent Three said to Agent Zero.

They stopped to one side to talk.

"Are you going to Japan?" Lixue asked the two agents again.

"Yes, of course, everyone is going, agent One, you're coming, right?" they called agent One behind Lixue.

"I can't either, agent Zero and I still have a mission that hasn't been completed yet, the captain has other work outside this work." agent Zero said.

All the agents already knew their mission, that their boss had given them orders, as long as it was confidential to others they didn't know, even if they were friends outside their work.

"Are those involved in your mission good at hiding?" agent Three said to the person in front of them.

"That's terrible! One of them is in the hands of the agency and has already been charged by the court and there is a lot of evidence gathered by the police and private army that is in the hands of the government. It's good that the new leaders now don't covet power, otherwise, our main character will be released from the mission." Agent One exclaimed, Lixue interrupted him when she noticed that the person next to her was talking too much.

Lixue then asked the people she was talking to why they had difficulty catching the suspects.

"They have a connection with you know, captain, the guts are still blocked, the face is thick, the mind is the new leader of our country, that's why they are dying one by one because they are getting caught now, they pretend to be good even though they are as bad as Satan, we will catch them too." Agent Two replied to Lixue.

Agents like them need and are required to be neutral in their behavior or attitude in every mission they do. If there is anything unneutral about them as agents, it will just be based on what each agent thinks.

"Calm down, agent Two, you're going to the secret room so you can investigate them further," Lixue replied to her fellow agents.

Lixue patted the two agents and secretly used her power before quickly releasing them. The agents could now complete their mission because Lixue had calmed them down, the two agents were angry about the failure of their mission. Lixue and agent One walked away from the two agents who were talking and said goodbye to them both.

"Did you catch your rival?" agent One whispered to Lixue.

"Don's family escaped, it's good that we meet again, they won't escape," Lixue replied.

Lixue holds the lives of the Gayag family in her hands because they have one person who is an evil spirit.

"What do you mean?" agent One asked, she turned to look at agent Zero.

"Just," agent Zero replied and sat down in her chair there.

Lixue placed the laptop on the table and opened it to reread the information she had gathered about the Gayag family's illegal activities. Agent One helped her and organized the information they had gathered because when their boss returned, they would show it.
