THE CEO AND HIS DAUGHTER

Jane works in his father's company and she is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GREENYORK OIL AND GAS and run all the affairs of the company except for the most complex part which his dad handles. The company has for many years been a target for Castrol Cartel but there had not been any headway. This company is worth Billions of dollars and every decision made, the final verdict always come from the top after a board meeting.

Alberto's father already knew about the relationship between his son and the Chief Executive Officers daughter Jane so he summon his son for them to meet at an undisclosed area and that he will text him the address in 20 minutes after their conversation ends. Alberto did not want to honour that invitation but his dad shouted I'm your father and you will do as I say. With that Alberto prepared and went to the address the father texted him as supposed.

So when he got there he did not see his father but saw a lot of guys working for Castrol Cartel all over the place. He went to one of them and asked where is my father? I have things to do and he can't keep me waiting this long. At once another member of Castrol Cartel came towards him with a gun and ordered him to calm down otherwise he will have no choice than to make him keep his mouth shut. He said before you can meet your father there are protocol you must follow and one of it is that you must be blindfolded first. They took him to a lonely place where no one could see them and blindfolded him.

Finally they took him to his father as directed by the boss himself. Now we finally meet since you have refused to come home Alberto's father said. Then Alberto replied please I have things to do why I'm I here? In response his father said that I have a mission and that mission is for you to infiltrate GREENYORK OIL AND GAS and give me all the information I need because I know you and the owner of that company's daughter are dating. Alberto was surprised and asked how do you know all of that? He replied I know everything. Unknown to his father that he has his own plan. In other to prevent any form of conflict he agreed to what his father said just to allow him leave. But before that his father told him he has to visit home because his mother wants to see him.

As usual Alberto was blindfolded and returned back to where he was taken from. He said in his mind war just began. My dad blindfolded me just to see me, who knows what's next? I have my plans and I will keep fooling you all until I accomplish my mission.

The next day Alberto called his friend for them to meet up and discuss something very important. So they met at Alberto's residence that is because no one can link Alberto to the Diego's family because there is no trace not even the DEA knows that Alberto is from the Diego's family.

Alberto came up with a plan and asked his friend to assist him in finding out why the Castrol Cartel have not been able to sabotage that company stating clearly that many attempts have been carried out yet all proved abortive. What exactly is GREENYORK OIL AND GAS all about? Why can't nobody infiltrate them. Alberto friend used some of his hacking skills to get some details but did not find anything. As such Alberto resolved to dealing with the situation in a civil way. The only option he has was to use Jane in decoding the secret behind the company's success.

After weeks of not hearing from each other Jane finally called to check up on him. Immediately he saw her call he exclaimed my target is calling. He now picked the called oh dear how are you doing? Jane replied It's been long and you never bothered to check up on me they both act as love birds unknown to Jane that this is just a bait to get her in bed after which his true mission will be executed.

After that day Jane told her mother about Alberto and told her to help convince her father that Alberto want to visit this weekend because she knows how her dad reacts when it comes to strangers visiting

The mother told her she will try. When the husband returned she told her what Jane said but immediately the father frowned at it saying let her remain focus in running the company as the Chief Financial Officer and don't get distracted by all this relationship talk which he knew might be the downfall of the company he has suffered to build over the years. The wife convinced him that they should let Jane make her own decisions because she is no longer a little girl. The father was angry and went to bed immediately without eating.

That night Jane returned home happy and singing with the believe that dad has already agreed on the said visit. The mother walked up to her and said your father did not approve of it you know how he his. After I told him he refused to eat and even went straight to bed. At once Jane's mood changed she became dejected and locked herself in her room.

So the next day breakfast was served the whole family was at the dining table except Jane. Then the father asked. Where is Jane? The mother replied she locked herself in the room since I broke the news to her that you did not approve of his friends visit.

The father stood up and went to Jane's room knocking and asking her if she is not going to work. Jane replied angrily I'm not going to work all these years I have done everything you asked of me just this one thing I asked that a friend of mine want to visit, you bluntly refused. The whole house was in limbo. Later that day Jane's father returned home very early from the office when he noticed that Jane was not present at the office.

Jane's dad had to succumb to the pressure all around and approved of Alberto's visit.

Immediately Jane was her normal self and feels happy and fulfilled. The next thing she did was to call Alberto and broke the new to him. Alberto was very happy because for him this is a big fish he can't let go.

On that faithful day he wore a cooperate suit to look decent but his upbringing never suit such. All he does was to dress casually but he had to try considering what is at stake. He eventually got to the Jane residence and called her to come out so that both of them can go in together. The mother asked the maids around to prepare something special for the guest which they immediately did and when he arrived the world stood still. Jane's mother welcomed him with an opened arm but his father never did the sensation not good at all.

After eating it took a while before Jane's father asked him some important question. Young Man where are you from and who is your father? I will like to meet him. Judging from my line of business I love contracts and partnership.

At that very moment Alberto knew he can't dear mention his father's name or the family he came from which is the Diego's. Sir I'm Alberto a software engineer and then lied about his parents by calling a different name. Jane's father had met with many dignitaries and he just won't trust this Alberto of a guy.

He asked him the last question for the day. Are the familiar with the game of chess? Alberto replied yes. With that he continued have you ever lost one? Alberto replied no and he concluded by saying me neither.

That was how he walked away called his secretary to scheduled a meeting exempting her daughter from that particular meeting despite her been the Chief Financial Officer of the company. Then Alberto thanked Jane's mother for her kind act and departed. On his way he began to wonder what exactly is this man up to why will he ask me this kind of question if I'm familiar with the game of chess? It is the same word my father used to tell me about the connection between chess and life's reality.

He was still on his way home when his father called. Alberto I gave you an assignment and I have not gotten an update. What is going on? Alberto replied angrily and arrogantly are you trailing me? The father answered what exactly are you talking about? Alberto quickly change the topic by telling him he is still working on it and that he will update him as soon as he gets something new. He never wanted to give him the slightest idea that he was just coming from the Chief Executive Officer of GREENYORK OIL AND GAS and that they both had dinner together. Alberto's father then told him he should be fast about it and that time is what he doesn't have. Time is not my friend remember in a loud voice Alberto replied I know sir.

For the first time in his life Alberto was scared he has always felt he is the boss but after meeting Jane's father his ideas of been the richest man on earth began to change so many questions started to spin in his head. I'm really scared he said to himself. That confirms why the Castrol Cartel have not been able to crack down on this company and it's all thanks to Jane's father. At this point he was confused and started looking for ways to rethink because he felt plan A will no longer work considering the kind of person he is dealing with.

On getting home he turned on the news and here is the breaking news. A Mexican killed his wife this morning over betrayal information from eye witnesses states that the husband murdered his wife in cold blood and decided to escape and set the house ablaze unfortunately for him he was arrested by the police. In another development a cartel group known as the Castrol launched an attack on the west side of town killing hundreds of persons and this has prompt the authorities to be at alert. Investigation is still been carried out to apprehend all those involved. End of news.

This again, said Alberto which do I have to face first if they link the Diego's family to me I will be in bigger trouble all my plans will be ruined. What do I do now I'm confused he said.

Jane began calling just to confirm if he arrived home safely but he didn't pick up he just doesn't want to mess things up further than they already are.

That whole night was the longest night of his life he couldn't sleep pacing back and forth contemplating how to use what he learned from both his own dubious act and that of his father in other to solve this puzzle. He knew something was missing in that equation and he needs to find it sooner rather than later. He turned on his laptop and began to make research trying to get details about the progress of the Drug Enforcement Agency in apprehending the Castrol Cartel so that he won't be linked to his father because he has bigger dreams and plans going to prison at this early stage won't do him any good.

Jane's father met with the board members and ask them to be vigilant and never disclose sensitive matters to Jane anymore unless he approves of it and that every project the company wants to engage in must first be approved by him before anything else. Everyone in the board meeting were speechless because they had no clue as to why this sudden decision was made and why the Chief Executive Officer of the company will restrict her daughter from certain responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer of GREENYORK OIL AND GAS.
