James’s P.O.V.
“Did you notice something? Sarah is behaving strangely.” Victor mind-linked me as soon as Sarah exited the room. The way she ran out of the room was enough to put a suspicion about her actions in our minds.
“Hmmmm,” I responded to him with a hum while looking in the direction in which she ran. Why did she panic? What was she trying to hide? “Do you want to investigate her?” Victor asked me through mind-link again.
“Okay,” I answered him, closing my eyes. All my friends present in this room were humans except John and Charles. Mind-linking someone slightly changed the colour of our eyes. I didn’t want any of them to notice that change in my eyes.
