☆☆LILA☆☆ We stopped in front of a heavy wooden door. The maid pushed it open and practically shoved me inside. I stumbled but didn’t fall down. The door slammed behind me, and I spun around just in time to hear the sharp click of the lock. “Hey!” I banged on the door. “Open this—!” No one answered I hit the door again, harder, my palms stinging. “You can’t do this!” I stepped back slowly, my chest rising and falling too fast. My hands were trembling now, the anger draining away, leaving fatigue behind I need to get out of this place. I turned, searching desperately for a way out—and only then did I really see the room. It was beautiful. Too beautiful to feel right. Luxury stretched in every direction, with expensive cream-coloured furniture, soft lighting, and wide windows.
