The Escape Plan

“Give this letter to Blaze. Make sure nobody reads it, or we all will be killed and make sure to go missing with Sir Raymond until things cool down here. All the best!” Alba instructed Kevin, giving him a warm hug. “Sure. Take care! I will leave with father at night.” He said, patting Alba’s head. Kevin went to meet Blaze in the dungeon, and gave him the letter with food. Before leaving, he gave Blaze a final hug, not knowing when they will meet again. Once Kevin and the guards had left, he opened the letter; “To my chipmunk, Well I always wanted to write a letter to my beloved, so this is kind of exciting. According to our agent, we got the report that even though your father has put you in the dungeon, you have been well. But it must have still been terrifying. We also cannot hide here for long as the chances of getting discovered have increased with time. Since our agent must have given you updates, let us get to the main point. At twelve, you will hear a loud bell; it is the signal that the plan is starting, so you must be prepared. The loyal followers will take up the night shift today, and get you out of the cell. Once you are successfully rescued, we will be signaled and escorted to you. Everything has been carefully planned and will be executed accordingly. Take care of yourself, hope to meet you soon! I love you!   Regards, You know who it is.”   Midnight came and the sound of a loud bell could be heard clearly. Two guards knocked on his cell in the pattern, three- one- four- three, the trustable pattern. Blaze followed them. Once out of the dungeon, the guards signaled some maids, and then they kept moving forward. Something told Blaze that is was going unbelievably smooth!  After walking for a while, Alba and Crimson appeared. The sight of Alba, looking entirely healed was enough to relish energy in Blaze. He walked faster towards her, he missed her. Alba also rushed and jumped into his embrace. The smell of Alba was the most soothing thing in the world. But then something arose in him. The discomfort increased and Blaze was unable to even think. He pushed Alba away, trying to control himself. But the desire arose in him. The desire to kill! Blaze was out of control as he used his blood fire sword, most dangerous noble weapon on her. Crimson jumped right in between, and the sword passed right through her, not giving her the chance to even say a goodbye. Blaze came in control for hardly a minute and saw Alba sitting next to Crimson, crying her heart out. Blaze bit himself to control his brain before picking up Alba. “Go, go away now. It must be father. Go!”, he shouted and pushed her away. Alba rushed to the exit and saw a number of soldiers at a distance, probably waiting for her. She went to the tunnel site Crimson had once shown her and used it to get out. Tears were flowing without any break, as she headed to the direction she was entirely unfamiliar with.   After walking for the entire night and the day after, she came across some cottages. She entered a big cottage which had the sign, ‘Traveler’s hotel’. A tall, heavily built lady, wearing a blue silk nightgown and cold smile, welcomed her in. “We only have two rooms, and both of them are occupied at the moment, but you may sleep on the couch.”, she said. “Is there another hotel like yours?” “Not in this area, the cottages around belong to code violators, are you sure you want to be outside?” she said, giving her plastered smile. “She can sleep in our room, we are ready to share. Don’t worry, my friend is also a girl.”, the voice came from the stairs, and the woman nodded. “Pay 10 grams of gold.” Alba checked her bag and took out the gold coin of ten that Kevin had given her. She passed it to the lady and followed the man, who led to a shabby room. It was a single room with a bed, a table that seemed older than Alba’s great-grandfather. A young lady, who seemed to be around Alba’s age, with a slim figure and straight shiny brown hair tied into a bun, wearing green t-shirt and black hot pants, was adjusting things. The person who brought Alba whispered something to her ears, and she nodded. The man seemed to be in his mid- twenties, with pale skin and black curly hair. He was tall and had a lean physique, with green marble eyes and a clear cut on his eyebrows. “I am Liza and he is Novak, we are childhood friends. What’s about you?” “I am Alba.” “Nice to meet you!” Liza said, extending her hands and nudging Novak to do the same. Alba shook their hands, pleased. Novak took out a huge pile of cotton, and placed them all on the floor. Then he made a high speed wind, changing the pile of cotton into a cotton sheet, and carefully placing it on the floor. Alba looked at it in amazement. “You are good!” Alba gave him thumbs up, which made him smile and Liza giggle.   “So why are you travelling this deserted area by walking?” Alba asked, once they were settled and all were in bed. “You can say, we are on a run! What about you?” “I am on a marathon!” Alba laughed, only to realize nobody got the joke. “Well, it means I am on a permanent run! What are code violators?” Alba said, trying to recover from the awkwardness.     “People who have used their magic, to hurt others without any specific reason!”
