CHAPTER 5: SATURDAY MORNING

Kate had stayed in her room all day not wanting to come out.  Not after the night she just had.  Hoping to be left alone she left her windows closed and her burgendy curtains closed. Kate was not much of a morning person specially when she was going through something that involved the heart.

Kates POV:

As the alarm goes off Kate throws it on the ground...  I had a bad dream she thought or was it a bad dream... Looking at the calender she saw it was Saturday hence it was no dream...Everything that happened last night was real she thought... Lana?  LANA ARE YOU THERE?

Lana: what is it Kate?  Why are you up so early anyways

Kate: I can't sleep Lana

Lana: and why is that?  Do you want to take about it?

Kate: not really...  It's just I feel like I’ve been stabbed in the back by my own friend. i mean how could she do this to me Lana.  What did I do to the moongoddess to deserve so much heartache?

Lana: kate we both knew this was coming.  You and Mark could never be mates for number 1 and 2 he is your brother need I remind you that yourl are from the Same Alpha and Luna!

Kate growles lowly as she knew Lana was telling the truth and it's not like she didn't know it was not going to happen. 

Lana: you know I can hear you growling at me?

 Yes, I do know that... You’re in my head you hear everything I say go figure.

I think seen that talking to you is not helping me in any way I might as we'll get up, put some sexy underwear, have chocolate ice- cream with cream not forgetting some popcorn and watch 5 Shades of Grey!

Lana: you can't be thay upset with me or with the situation Kate. It's not like you didn't not find your mate last night.  But knowing you with that stubborn attitude you decide to run from mate. He could have been consoling you right now instead you want to cry over yourrr

Kate: Stop right there Lana...  Please I just need time alone I don't quiet expect you to understand after all it's not you are going through the emotions it's me.

Lana: fine I get it you might not think I don't understand but your mate happens to be my mate. In whomse I long for.

Lana had taken the hint that Kate didn't want to talk much about what she was feeling.  She always felt alone at times when she faced a paineful thing. She didn't give Lana the opportunity ro hear her out so as usual Kate always assumed, she was alone.

Lana: I'd never leave you Kate just know that I am always here even when you think I dint understand what your feeling. With that been said Kates wolf had left her in peace to think about what she had said. She decided to get uo do what she initially said she would do which was run the bath water, light some crimson candles and listen to Luther Van Ross...

Tanya’s P.O.V

I never thought I'd meet my mate... I never if it would happen so quick and on the first night of the party. What I can't seem to understand is why would Kate have a problem with me finding her mate?  What was her connection to my Mate and why would it upset her even if me knowing that my crush was my mate???  Could she be jelous that I found my mate and she didn't get to find hers?  I mean it's not like we planned to find our mates the same night specially not at a party...  Tink can we talk...  Tink is always there for me after all she is my wolf maybe she would try to help me understand why Kate reacted the way she did.

Tink: hey Tan whatsup

Tanya: oh, tink do you have to always call me that...

As much as I hate to say it Tanya that's a short nick for your name and besides your mate already knows that's your nick name.

Tanya; WHAT!!! BUT HOW?

Thats not important right now...  What was it that you needed to talk to me about?  It's about Kate...  She didn't quiet get excited for me like a friend should when I found my mate could she be jealous ... I don't think she's jealous after all she's your best friend why would she be

Tanya: maybe because she just ran off without saying a word to me or Leo before running out the door as though somebody is chasing her why else?

Tink: or maybe she is just sad that you found yours and she didn't!  Did that ever occur in your mind?

" oh s**t" I didn't think that far...  You could be right should I call her to see if she's ok?  Or do you think I should let her be I mean if it where me I'd also be upset.

Tink: exactly maybe if you give her time to process what had happened, she would come around and tell you what she's feeling...

I think it's time I get off my bed and run a hot bath after all I have shopping to do.  I'm really happy and feeling extra excited cause for the first time I got to touch my mate. Marks really Cute with his blue eyes and Black hair... I cam already imagine my future with him, meeting his family, having his little persons grow in me... Moon Goddess I must give it to you this time you have out done yourself...  Did I mention he happens to be the crush I always wanted to be with...? With that tanya Put on some Music and danced the away as her excitement was beyond uncontrollable...  Her mother couldn't even sto0 her even if she tried...Tanya can you stop that noise just this once please!  There was no response from Tanya so Mrs Kimera decided to go up hoping that her daughter would open the door. Knock knock knock...  No answer

Mrs Kimera: Tanya Maria Backstrom I demand you open this door at once!

Tanya quickly put thr music soft as she dashed towards the door to see who could be calling her full name... Only her mother called her full name and once she did that it always meant trouble.

Tanya opened the door to find her mothers hands crossed against her chest.

What did I tell you about this loud noise Tanya?

I'm sorry mom I'm just happy I found my mate... " you what" did I hear correctly...Tanya giggled at het mothers’ expression and answered with a wide smile across her face.  Yes, mom I did and yes you heard correctly... " oh honey" why didn't you say... I'm so happy for you.  Come het let me give you a hug... She ran to her moms loving arms.  She always knew that her mother would be happy for her even if her mate was a goat. Long as she was happy. So was her mother.  Not quiet sure your father would be as happy as me honey after all you his only princess and your dad been a Beta he always said he would protect you... " Mom do you think telling dad that his only daughter has found her mate a good idea? Oh, sweetie let's wait a while you and I both know how he can be...  Tanya just smiled because she knew her mother always knew best specially when it came to the heart.  She could often sense when something was wrong or bothering her precious princess. The main thing for Tanya was that her parents gave her their blessing and would welcome her mate as their family...
