CHAPTER 6: Marks P.O.V

Standing in this corner is starting to irritate me to the pits!  I did not come all the way to look for Kate.  She should know better by now.  Mark decided to mind link his two brothers asking if they have found their sister but they both answered in unison NO...  " why are you looking for her anyway?  Jack Asked...  Because she is our sister damit and with all these unmated boys looking with their lustful looks do you think having your sister around them is a good idea? Gabe did not respond as he knew that Mark was making sense in what he was saying. So did Jack.  they all decided to cut the mind link off.  Mark couldn't stop looking around when he noticed 3 other people looking his direction.

Mark: what are they looking at Jace

Jace: WHAT DO YOU MEAN?  can't you smell something sweet like custard??

Mark: no what do you mean?

Jace: fool close your eyes and try to focus on that smell...

As he was about to close his eyes, he caught sight of Kate...  Not only was she with her friends but she was with his MATE!

Mark had already knew that his mate was in the very same corner as Kate...  He did not know that finding his Kate meant finding his Mate.  And not to forget they are friends...what are you waiting for start walking our mate is right there... Fine! Fine was the response Mark had given to his wolf.  As he was walking towards his sister his focus shifted on his mate... They both saw nobody but each other and touched for the first time.  Sparks had gone up his arm as he never thought finding a mate would feel so amazing.  Both Tanya and Mark forgot about what was happening that they completely forgot that Kate had disappeared without saying a word. Kate had left Leo standing and admiring they couple who finally found each other. Leo knew Mark… he didn't know that he was Kates secret lover neither did Tanya know. Mark and Tanya made their way to the dance floor and danced the night away, they held hands and kissed not worried about who was watching.

Both their wolves where in awe as they got closer during the evening.... After all it was needed for Mark. Been a 23-year-old and still no mate kept on playing on his mind.  Although he did not show that it bothered him. Most male wolves found their mate at age 18 , with him been his fathers right hand man he needed to find his mate to show that if handling a love life is something he could do handing a pack once his father steps down would be easy together with his mate by his side..

That morning he did not get to see Kate. Usually she is always the last one to get up but at that point he wasn’t sure if she had left the house or not as her door was looked. He could not smell her either.

He looked all over before making his way back up the stairs to knock on her door... ‘’BANG BANG BANG” Kate? Kate are you there? Please can you open so we can talk? KATE! Dammit Kate!

With all that banging on the door he was unsuccessful as he dint know if she was there or not he couldn’t mind link her cause she had blocked the link to be in peace and focus on her Saturday morning… not only to try and understand what just happened between Mark and Tanya but to understand why did the moon goddess do a twist on her heart by her meeting her mate in the manner that he did.

Mark got tired of waiting for a response, so he had left and stopped waiting on her to open the door.

Mark: Morning Mom

Mrs Mai: Morning Hun how did the party go?

‘’it was ok…. Hey mom have you seen Kate this morning?

Mrs Mai: No Hun why do you ask? Did you to have plans? Did she stand you up again?

Mark: (clears throat) no mom I didn’t see her I’m just worried about her

Mrs Mai: did something happen to my princess?

At that point Jace wanted to blurt out “yes she found her mate but didn’t wait for him to embrace her and she ran off like a little child expecting someone to coo her… But Mark managed to stop him.

With that been said he managed to ease his mother that nothing had happened to Kate. As he left the room. That day Mark just proceeded back to his comfort zone to think about what had transpired, he was caught up with his thoughts and his night he spent with his mate… one thing kept on playing on his mind “is she Kates friend” was she here last night just like I thought? There was only one way he could find out and that was to try and find out where his mate lived and ask her himself seen that Kate was not taking to him. He knew he was out in a predicament between his mate and her friend. However, his focus was to get to know his mate more as she was his other half and that ease ho the moon goddess had placed in his life. She would be the one to bear his child after all, in spite of the pain his sister would face he had to do what was right and that was to be by his mates side through thick and thin even if it meant hurting Kate in the process.

 Greys P.O.V

As Grey continued to enjoy his partying with Samantha von lue he couldn’t stop thinking about his encounter with his mate... he kept on thinking why she didn’t even give him the chance to introduce himself instead she just ran away from him… Is something wrong with me? He kept on thinking about her and if there’s something about him she didn’t like… he couldn’t focus on the partying anymore. He knew he had to try get away from Samantha and the others as his focus has since shifted from partying to finding out about his mate. Grey was the type of wolf any wolf wanted to be like, he was muscular tan with tribble tattoos and knew how to handle any weapon given to him….

Most she wolves fell in love with him but him been a woman’s man he was irresistible and couldn’t resist but give in… Most unmated wolves couldn’t stand him not because he had girls when he wanted instead because of his skills. That evening ended with Grey going home alone without finding his mate. His wolf felt depressed and just didn’t want to talk to Grey instead he blocked him off as he felt Grey could have done everything if he really wanted to find Their Mate.

As he got home, he had opened his room door without hesitation. His room bore a lot of detail, Red walls with white out lines and dark grey curtains just like his name and eyes… from the looks of it he was very particular about what would be in his room and what he didn’t want. He had a beautiful view of the city and huge windows…

That evening he went straight to the shower as he believed having a cold shower after having spent the evening out always cooled him off. Specially if he was angry. He needed to connect with his wolf in hopes that he would have the answers he needed…

Beast! Beast Dammit answer me will you! now’s the time I need answers!

Beast: What the f**k are you yelling for

Grey: why the f**k must I always scream can’t you just be there when I need you to be?

Beast: WTF man just chill out will you. Besides what do you want from me? Its not like you even listen when I talk!

Grey: Fine you don’t want to help me solve why mate ran away from us I’ll do it on my own with or without your help!

Beast: why couldn’t you just say in the damn first place!

Ok fine cut it out this back and forth is getting us nowhere, we need to figure out how we can get close to mate and find out what was the reason she ran away from us. Besides if she’s going to be my mate, I need her to love me with or without my flaws. And she knows how to respect me as her Alpha! Under no circumstances am I going to put up on a spoiled Luna… Unless its me spoiling her- with a smirk on his face as he knew exactly what he meant by that his eyes changed from Grey to Black then Red… Grey often couldn’t help when his lust full thoughts got the better of him

‘’I will get her to notice me somehow’’ and when I mean by some-how I mean even if I must hunt her down myself I would! No wolf is going to stop me or even try to come between my mate and I and if he tries it would be over my dead body Beast! I meant it!

That evening Grey had a shower and hopped into his bed in hopes of getting some news the next morning as to where his mate could be…
