CHAPTER 12- THE NEW HOME

Grey and Kate had been driving for the past 2 hours, they did not make any stops as Grey was eager and anxious to show his Kate their new home. They thought of moving to another City but been a way from family would hurt more than ever. Family was always what Kate loved and as she already knew that there was a kitten on the way, she didn’t just want to have her own yet. She and Grey had a lot going on for themselves and moving to a new home was not only exciting to her but over whelming.

They finally reached the Pearl gates of their new home. Grey didn’t know what to expect as nobody has seen the new home apart from his maiden servants. He never Brought His Delta, Gammer or Beta there as He wanted his Luna to be the first to see what he had done for her. Her Impression and Approval meant more to him than his Beta, as Kate been the Luna, making her Happy was always his Priority.

Kate was in awe as the gates had opened, she’s never seen a beautiful fountain with different kinds of Orchids along the driveway. She couldn’t help but smile as Grey drove up towards their Pack house. As he looked at his Kate, a smile has formed. He couldn’t help the smile knowing he had put it there. He had pulled up to the front, there they saw their hand maidens awaiting the next instruction from their Alpha. Kate was speechless as she did not know what to expect and to see a pack as big as Greys was not what she expected.

Grey jumped out the vehicle making his way to open the door for his Luna.

They were greeted by Greys Beta John, Gammer Ryan and Delta Kade. ‘Good evening Alpha’ with their heads bowing down showing respect towards the Alpha and Luna.

‘John, Ryan, Kade how are you?’ We good and happy to see you with our Luna.

As Kate walked up to them, all she did was smile, been introduced as Luna was not something she could get used to, as it was not official and there was still a ceremony to come.

Grey took his Luna by the waist leading her up to the front door as he had given instructions to John; Take all the belongings in the car, make sure nothing drops and nothing is lost in the process. Luna and I will be in our Room. We are not to be disturbed as this would be our first Night together.

John bowed his head in acknowledgment and respect as he took heath of his Alphas Instructions.

Kate had followed Grey inside. Not sure what to expect, her expression was not only priceless, but she was amazed by how beautiful the Chandeliers lit up, and how warm the home was, having orchids on the dinning room table, with black leather couches.  As she looked to the left, she saw a bookshelf. Kate was not one to read but she when she had the chance, she made the effort. She could see a fireplace above the 75 in flat screen TV and a black and red Carpet that made the scene nice and cosy. To her right Hung a portrait of the Great Alpha James.

Kate continued to walk through the house as she made her way to the kitchen. She knew she would love been in there as she had her own private pantry to make specials for her Alpha when ever she would love to treat him. As she kept quiet, with a smile on her face her mate watched her every move. Happy with what you see? “Its Beautiful” I love it! She couldn’t stop smiling and screaming in excitement at the same time. She ran to her mate and jumped on him as he hugged her tight going around in circles.

Wait till you see the Bedroom he thought. As he took her by the hand and lead her to the master suit where the doors where white and opened in full, Kate gasped in shock. His room was Black and Red, had white outlines of a design done by an artist from Egypt, linen from Thailand and mirrors on the ceiling. Kate knew she would love her room as she always enjoyed playing dress up. Having mirrors on the ceiling reminded her of back home when she would stare at herself while laying on her bed.

As she walked through she found a white couch facing the windows with a view to over look the city, a Secret passage that lead to a closet where only her and Grey would have access to and a bathroom that had a round huge tub big enough to fit 4 people in. This was nothing like Kate expected but to her surprise her mate had out done himself. Grey already knew the choice of clothes and lingerie his mate would love. He had gotten his famous designer to design a few clothes as well as Lingerie for her. Most of Kates underwear consisted of red and black lace. He had already planned out most of it as he knew he would love to see her in it just for him.

Grey: babe I need to get to the office to finish some pack business, do you mind if I leave you alone for a while?

Kate: Sure Hun, il just be in here if you need me… Before Grey could exit the room, he gave her a warm hug and kissed her on her forward. As the door closed Kates knew there was a lot of unpacking to do. but the drive was to long for her to unpack so she left some of her stuff in her bag and took a bath lighting her favourite crimson candles which reminded her of back home. She sat there for a while thinking of how far she as since come from running away from her mate to loving him unconditionally.

Kate got out the tub, opened the closet and put on one of Greys sweaters. His scent was all over it and seen he wasn’t back from the office, what could be more comforting than sleeping in His sweater. She hopped into bed under the sheets she went and off to sleep. Grey had walked into the room hoping to find his mate up waiting for him only to find her fast asleep, he cuddled up next to her and brought her close to his chest as he knew smelling her neck would help him fall off to sleep.

The next day had arrived, Kate had gotten up extra early as it was her first night in her new home and she wanted to explore the kitchen a bit. She had Made scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, oats and processed some pure orange Juice for Grey as he had an apatite like no other specially after he would work out and run for solid hours.

Grey Got up expecting his mate to be in his arms but she was not there. He looked for her in the room and was suddenly hit with the sweet fragrance of food. He had gone down the stairs only to find the table was set out for the two of them. He couldn’t help but smile as he never thought his mate had such skills. Not only was she good at been a friend or Daughter but she knew how to feed her man. “I have to say something in here smells delicious” only the best for the Best Babe. “May I?’’ let me help you with that she responded. As the two helped themselves. It was not long when his Beta had mind linked him that they have found a note that read.” I’m coming for what’s mine”. Kate could tell by the look on her mate’s face that something was wrong. She also knew that if she had asked him, he would not answer her as he never liked her to worry much about things, he knew he could handle. Grey finished up his meal, kissed her on the forehead and gave her a hug as he asked if he could be excused. He needed to meet with his Beta, Delta and Gammer to get to know more about the message his Beta mind linked him about. He ran up the stairs to have a bath, leaving Kate in dispense and worry. She knew nobody and was not sure what exactly was going on. That Morning she just decided to wash up and not pry much on what just happened.

A few minutes later she went up to see if Grey was still there, but he had already left through the back door. Kate had a bath, put a pair of jeans and boots on, had on light make-up and decided to take a tour around the house. Down the hallway she was amazed by the frames and pictures of the Alpha generation that hung up. Grey never told her that he came from a line where the Alpha position was passed down. She had met Felicity, the head maiden servant that morning who helped her understand why Greys portrait was not hung on the wall yet seen that he was the Current Alpha at the time. With her head bowed down as she said

‘’Good Morning Luna Kate” Kate turned around to see who that was that called out her name. Good Morning! how are you? I’m ok thanks. I’m Felicity, the Head Maiden that gives instructions to the servants of the house. Yes. I did not get to meet you as Alpha Grey needed me to make sure that your quarters would be ready in time. Thank you Felicity I appreciate it. I really do love the fact that you had crimson candles for me. Its like you knew it would remind me of my home. ‘’Alpha Grey had me get those for you’. He said your brother had told him you love scented crimson candles; it was only pleasure for me to make sure what our Luna is Happy her.

If you don’t mind me asking Felicity, how long has it been since you been working here?

Felicity didn’t know how to answer that question as She and Grey had an affair in which nobody but them knew about. “Iv been here for 9 years Luna” WOW… That’s pretty much a long time for a single woman like you. Felicity looked up at Kate and smiled. She wanted to blurt out the fact that she was not the one for Grey, but she was Luna, nobody dared to say something so brave like that. The punishment would be death.

Kate had continued the walk leaving Felicity behind. She never knew that Grey had a woman who was single working for him. It turns out there was a lot she had to learn given the fact that she did not know any she wolves that lived on the land. She had come to a secrete passage in which she discovered holds a door that remained locked. She didn’t think much about it as she felt she could trust that all the servants would give her the respect and honour without her having to force it. Kate didn’t know that she was yet to learn more about Grey, not just his past and his pack but his secret life he lived with Felicity in the time he was unmated.
