[Cathrine’s POV]
We were suddenly being surrounded by a pack of wolves.
I knew instantly that it wasn’t Chase’s pack.
None of them seemed familiar, and they didn’t seem too fond of trespassers, but then again, Vlad was a Vampire, so I did understand their skepticism.
“Alpha, it’s a Vampire and.. a girl.” I heard one of the wolves sending a mind-link to his Alpha.
“Anything I should know?” The alpha asked, “I can sense she’s marked, but something isn’t right.. I don’t think she’s a werewolf.. and she smells different” he answered.
“Okay, be careful Tristan, do not try anything reckless, I’ll be there in a few!” The answer came, as the wolves just stood there waiting, but if we made just a single movement they growled.
“What are they waiting for?” Vlad whispered, as his brows knitted.
