[Chase’s POV]
I walked back outside, after I had put Cathrine on the bed in my room to rest.
She passed out almost immediately and looked like someone who hadn’t slept for weeks.
I wondered if we might have pressured her too hard, with this mind reading of hers because why else would she start to get headaches this bad?
“Mom, I’ll leave now, Cathrine’s asleep, call me if she needs anything!” I called out to my mom before I left the house.
“How is she?” Charlie asked as he came towards me, followed by James.
“She’s having a bad headache and didn’t seem to be in her right mind.
Maybe we pressured her too much, we don’t know anything about these abilities of hers, so perhaps she wasn’t ready to use it so much.” I answered, as I pulled my fingers through my hair.
