[Cathrine’s POV] I walked back to the pack house with fast steps as it was getting close to a run. Chase or his supposed wolf walked some few feet behind, not saying a word. He already knew he stepped over the line, and I could feel the regret sipping out of him, but I was not letting him off the hook that easily. Drake caught up with me. I knew it was clear I've cried. “Cathy, I’m sure whatever he said, that he didn’t mean it.” He explained as I shook my head. “Oh no, he meant every word of what he said, he just didn’t want me to know how he really felt, but now I do.” I replied in a cold tone, as I tried to distant myself from how hurt I was.
