The bleeding in Gregory"s leg had not stopped, and he was necessary to urgently lose his tracks and stop somewhere to dress his leg. He went out of town, saw the direction sign of a small town, and went down that road. Henderson, Billy and their teams were still after them and occasionally shooting at them from behind. Gregory was driving along, zigzagging in the road, turning the steering wheel of the car to the left and right, to continue on the road with minimal damage from the bullets.
After going down on the same road for about 10-15 minutes, he saw a sign showing a farmhouse, and veered off the bumpy road and changed his direction.
