Getting Settled #2
The following day, Alex went to meet the patriarch. Today is his first official day as an elder because the patriarch was going to announce his election as an elder. Both Mary, and he were so happy. Many people were going to be here today to witness this appointment ceremony. It was said to be held on the announcement grounds which was not too far away from the sacred mountain of the patriarch. Arriving at the podium, Alex was ecstatic. On the podium, there were 4 grand elders and the patriarch. They were already seated in their seats as they patiently waited for Alex's arrival. Below the podium, there were oceans of people. Thousands upon thousands of people of all ages and sizes came to watch this ceremony. Amongst them, Mary was carrying Jedidiah in her hands as she also came to watch
