CHLOE's POV
‘‘We’re now ready to take off.’’
Jun’s voice blared over the PA system. The hold that Easton had on my waist became tighter, and I responded by leaning closer to him, wrapping my arms around his neck, and closing my eyes so that I could feel a little less of my nerve-wracking.
‘‘Don’t be scared, baby…’’ Easton reassured me and kissed my cheek. ‘‘Just close your eyes and hold me tight…’’
I nodded my head and I felt the jet immediately begin to pick up speed on the runway.
The take-off went smoothly. My eyes squeezed shut and my hold tightened at Easton’s as the cabin pressure increased the higher we went. But my eyes suddenly opened and they soon went wide when I felt Easton’s lips on mine, kissing me softly.
