I never imagined having to hurt a person in my life. He was staring daggers at the two of us before he left the classroom. The word he whispered under his breath only spelled trouble.
Never mind all of that, it is great to see that Mallory didn’t bear I'll intentions about that water bucket. I like the sight of her walking around so carefreely. I took a small notebook from my bag, it’s like a little journal with a softcover, I bought a few of it together with the clothes. I’ll use this one to converse with Mallory.
“Let me carry it.” I pointed at the shopping bags that she’s carrying.

Michael’s POV
They’re late again... Do they want us to get locked up within campus?
Gabriel came twenty minutes after me. He wasn’t with his girl, I didn’t really ask nor did I care why.
“Liza didn’t was frightened of you so she didn’t send me off.” Gabriel told me.
“Did I ask?” Gab laughed at my question, “2 days, ” I said.
“What?”
“Until that girl breaks up with you.” I told him. Don’t get me wrong, I'm not some fortune-teller neither do I have the ability to see the future. It’s just that all of Gabriel’s previous relationships never lasted a week. He either gets tired of them or the girl he’s dating gets bullied because of him.
“Are you cursing me?” I smirked at his question and directed my care off of the conversation.
I saw Raphael and Mallory walking from a distance. For some reason, Mallory looked different and Raphael was holding onto few paper bags.
“Wow! Mallory looks like a goddess!” Gabriel exclaimed ecstatically, “when did she change clothes?” he asked. I see now, it was the clothes that made her look different. She has been wearing her rag-like mourning dress all this time after all. Although I don’t understand Gabriel’s reaction, she was a goddess from the beginning.
Never mind that, she may look good but she’s still annoying.
“What’s that?” changing the topic, I asked Raphael pointing at the paper bags he’s holding.
“Clothes,” he said.
“Don’t you have enough clothes?” I asked.
“It’s Mallory’s.” he replied.
“Woah! Raphael just bought clothes for Mallory!” Gabriel is overreacting again, “Is this love?” he asked trying to put them together.
Heh, what love? Considering how careless and untidy this girl is, she must have ruined her dress somehow and Raphael who cares so much about grooming had no choice but to buy her new ones.
“Enough with the nonsense,” I told them and we headed back to the dorm.
--
As soon as we reached the dorm, Raphael told me to come to their room because he had something to say.
“Guys... I may not come back to the dorm together with you starting tomorrow.” Raphael announced.
“Why?” Gabriel asked.
“I got into a fight,” Raphael explained, “3 hours of community service after school is the punishment.”
Gabriel couldn’t say anything, he was astounded by what he just heard and so was I. Raphael got into... a fight?
“What happened?” I asked.
Raphael told us everything from what happened yesterday about that bucket of water until Mallory’s actions today that led Raphael into punching this guy in the face. It is so Raphael-like to get mad at people for treating his friends like that but to the extent of punching him was not what you would expect.
“So you even stood up for her,” Gabriel said. “Haha, you did well learning from me!” what is this guy saying?
I guess Raphael is only human as well, it is not strange for anyone to do that. The strange one here is Mallory, what was she thinking trying to give that bucket of water back to that guy, of course he’ll pour it over you, it’s as if you’re asking him to.
“We’ll help you with that.” I told Raph.
“Ye, gotta pay back for those times you helped us.” Gabriel said.
“What us? You’re the only one who keeps on getting to trouble.” I said. Gabriel looked at me bitterly. “Anyway, it’ll be better to have us with you so he wouldn’t try provoking you while in duty.” I continued.
“Yeah! Leave it to us!” Gabriel agreed. I have a feeling that it wouldn’t be that guy but Gabriel who will start the fight.
“Sorry for the trouble.” Raphael said. This guy...
“What sorry? We’re brothers, aren’t we?” Nice Gab! I was about to say the same.
After the talk we proceeded to get some sleep. The light was turned off when I came to the room. Mallory... now that I’m seeing her with the brightness of the moon she really does look good in that white dress, her silence leaves a strange feeling in the air. It is really mesmerizing seeing her like this, sitting on the window gazing upon the moon. It’s not a gaze full of sorrow nor joy. It’s as if she’s observing the moon trying to memorize it’s beauty.
Aha... what am I thinking? How could I ever understand what’s going on in this weird girl’s head? She might just be trying to pose a position to make herself look cool. I just laid on my bed to get some sleep. Tomorrow seems like it’ll be a long day.
