Sleepless Nights

"I can sense you, to be exact." Sense... This makes no sense I say. Are you some kind of super being? How can you read my thoughts? As I asked her this train of questions, she had already finished my meal. "Master... do you want me to feed you my blood again?" she said with a teasing look on her face. This... It wasn't a dream!? Y-you really are a demon!? "Yes, master." she replied as she crawled over the small table that we were eating on and towards me. I moved backward instinctively as she drew closer until my back finally hit the bed. She bit her lips until it started bleeding and leaned forward to give it to me with a kiss. I did not stop her, as the gap between both of our lips lessens and I look at her intimidating red eyes, I was forced to remember the things that I had taken as nothing. There have been many strange happenings ever since I met Mallory; the first day of school when Gabriel got sick and couldn't remember anything that happened, next is Raphael getting in a fight and being punished for it, me getting sick for supposedly helping Mallory that I do not even have a memory of is also there. That time amidst the thunderstorm when I saw her form change, I have only thought it was a hallucination, but now I know that it must be real. All these strange happenings had Mallory involved in them. Out of all of these, everything that Mallory is is the strangest of all. How could I have not doubted her? All these thoughts came into my mind as I share a kiss with Mallory. I... do not taste blood anymore yet we're still at it. Reclaiming my senses I gathered my strength and grabbed Mallory's arms, seizing her by the wrist I pushed her down the small table we were eating on. Being pinned down like this, her expression still does not change. "You said you are my servant?" I voiced out my thoughts believing that she can hear me as words spoken are louder than words only thought of inside one's mind. "Yes, master." her voice in my head speaks calmly as well. "Then show me your true self." I said. If she really is a demon then this cannot be her true form. Just like before when she had scales on her body after being hit by the thunder. This is also the reason why I felt almost nothing from the long kiss that we had. "Mallory is... already Mallory." she replied. Strangely, the voice of her within my head sounded a bit downcast. She is already herself? I cannot be sure whether she's telling me the truth or not. "You're not really deaf, are you?" I asked. "I am deaf, master." she replied, compared to the way her voice in my head spoke a while ago, she certainly is sounding glummer. "You are lying." I said. It is to force the truth out of her because she might be very cunning, I won't hold back either. "Mallory is not lying to master." she said. "Liar!" I yelled. "Mallory cannot lie to master." she said, showing her spoken face. "Mallory is master's own, if master tells Mallory not to lie then Mallory cannot lie." she's definitely flustered. It is even visible on her face. Yet I still cannot find a way for myself to believe her words. If she really is a demon, then shouldn't she be having supernatural abilities? Her ridiculously accurate sense of smell and fast regeneration. She may still be hiding something. If she was a demon then, "Why didn't you fight back to Aiden?" not only once but thrice it was that Aiden harmed or forced her into something. Slam! Someone opened the door abruptly. I looked at the person and it was Gabriel. "Huh? Y-you guys are 'bout to have fun?" he said at his entrance as he saw me pinning down Mallory. This isn't really how it looks like though. I thought he'd go away after that and paid him no more attention. I looked back at Mallory waiting for an explanation. "Ah wait, you guys can't do it without protection, Mallory ain't eighteen yet!" Gabriel said. "What the- just leave!" I yelled at him. "Wait, wait I'll give you some so wait for me." he said enthusiastically. What is he gonna get??? This guy is just... "We ain't doing it, so just leave, will you?" I told him. "Huh? You're want to do it unprotected?" he said. Ugh... this guy and his perverted brain. "Get out!" I stood up and forced him out of the room. "Hey, I have a lot so you can just take it from me." Gabriel says as I dragged him outside. "No need to be shy." This guy is still spouting nonsense. "I said nothing's happening so just leave." I said and closed the door right at his face. *Sigh* Here I was having a serious talk with someone and he just messes up everything. *facepalm* I turned back to see if Mallory caught any of that, but I only found her still laying down the table with her eyes closed. Is she pretending to sleep now? Do demons even need to sleep? I feel doubtful of everything she does now. "Hey, wake up." I said but she did not move from her position. *Sigh* Really, why do you have to look so kind and annoying when you're a demon? Don't sleep on top of the table now. I don't know if you can get sick, but it's annoying that I'm thinking about it so just get up and go to your bed, won't you? I said all this in my thoughts since it seemed like she can read all of it. Yet it doesn't seem like she does now. I stood there staring at her for an extended period of time, waiting for her to stop pretending to sleep and reply to me, but it seemed to be in vain. She's sleeping in an awkward position so I thought she would give in easily, but I guess I am weaker. I lost and carried her to her bed, fixed the table, and laid down on my bed. It's kind of hard to sleep like this, who knows what she might do if I fell asleep. Laying down the bed, I faced her direction and watched her as she sleeps. Mallory... I don't know what I to do about you anymore.
