”What happened? Why can’t I remember anything?” Gab asked Mallory.
The three of us stood there, waiting for an answer, but she just stared at us.
Yes, the three of us. *sigh* what am I doing? I went back to my room to get something to write on, do I really have to do this? How troublesome...
”Hey, hueeeyy! Eyooo! Oi?” While I’m in the room I heard Gabriel making incomprehensible noises. He sure recovers fast huh?
”That one’s deaf.” I told them as I went out of the room. I handed Gab the pen and pad, so they could talk.
”You came to the classroom , right? What happened? I can’t remember anything after that.” Gab wrote.
”Passed out. To the clinic.” Mallory replied. What the? Why does she construct sentences like a child? It didn’t seem like it will become an intelligible conversation so I just headed to the shower room.
When I entered the shower, somebody else was already there. I placed my clothes to wear near the sink. Since I have a woman for a roommate I have no choice but to dress up in the shower room. I went on to take a shower, when Gabriel and Raphael entered, the other guy just finished his bath, I didn't bother looking at him at all. So here I am now in this predicament. I searched everywhere already, it’s nowhere to be found. My clothes! Argh! Why does everyone want my clothes these days? He even took my towel, that bastard. So I had to ask Gab and Raphael to get me clothes. After a few minutes Gabriel came to give me a towel and my clothes. For some reason, he was rushed to go back.
After I clothed myself, I went to Room 505 to return the towel, they left the door open, no one was there. Wait, did they just leave me behind?
”Kahahaha! You lost again, Raphael!” I heard Gabriel's loud voice through the wall, they’re in my room. What are they doing?
I opened the door and I saw Gab standing right next to the door. Sitting on the floor are Mallory and Raphael facing each other, between them was a phone.
”What are you guys doing?” I asked Gabriel who couldn’t hold his laughter.
”Hockey on phone. Ahaha! Raphael just keeps on losing.” he mocked.
They sure know how to get along with people... I looked around and found a pad on my bed, it contained their conversation:
What?
You don’t know? Let’s play one then.
Here, it’s simple.
Next was an explanation about the game, I flipped back a few pages until I found the beginning of the conversation:
How is your ankle?
Healed. Thank you.
It’s no biggie.
Hey, let’s introduce ourselves!
I see that Raphael was worried about Mallory’s injury and decided to ask her about it, then Gabriel joined in which led to this. As expected of Gabriel, leave it to him to make any short conversation long.
I watched them play for a bit then we headed out for school. Mallory came with us by the way. She’s still wearing the same clothes as the other day, I guess she has nothing to change to. Does she even ever take a bath? I closed in to check, thankfully she didn’t smell, not yet at least.
On our way to the campus, Mallory keeps wandering around. Every little thing catches her interest, Raphael who was afraid she’d get lost and kidn*pped, followed her around like a dog. After a 10 minute walk that seemed like a couple of hours for us, we reached the campus without Mallory getting lost, although I wish she did.
”Tap your ID’s.” the guard told us.
We received our IDs as soon as we were accepted for admission, three of us went in easily without any problems, but for whatever reason Mallory didn’t have an ID. This is why I wished she had just gotten lost. For us who knew nothing about sign language, we couldn't ask her where her ID is, she has no bag or anything either. So Gab had to make up excuses for her to be able to go in.
After we got into the campus, we went separate ways. We take different courses after all, except Mallory. When we asked her about the ID she tilted her head at the word, and when we asked what course she’s taking she just answered with another head tilt. Look, I couldn’t care less if she didn’t know these things or she just feel like acting dumb, but why in the world is she in the same class as me? I know my handsomeness must have made her coerced, nothing I can do about it, is there? She might have thought I would treat her good because she’s my roommate, but she’s sorely mistaken.
She did nothing to distract me throughout the class. In fact, she was just nodding off the whole class. The classes finished and she was still asleep, I decided to just leave her there, but when I was about to leave, some sh*theads suddenly got into a fight beside her. They were fighting about an iPod pulling it out of each other’s hands, just then both of them had unintentionally let go of it and it fell right upon Mallory’s sleepy head. Crap. Now she’s awake. She saw me about to leave the room, ignored whatever the reason she was awoken, and just decided to walk straight to me. Well, it wasn’t exactly a straight walk, she had to slip upon an orange liquid mess on the floor and fall face first. As if it didn’t hurt her at all, she just stood up and went to me with a bleeding nose. Only two things came to my mind, Raphael and the clinic. Raphael should still be having classes at this time so we headed to the clinic. On our way to the clinic, I wanted to tell her so badly to wipe the blood off her face, but of course, she wouldn’t hear me, would she? So I just had to wipe it off myself and for that annoying reason, a group of girls walking by had to comment ”how sweet!” as they passed us. I know it is sweet, but I didn’t mean to be sweet to her. Still, her nose is bleeding and the clinic was just a long way to go, just what do you want me to do? Let her leave a trail of blood as we walk down the hallway?
We reached the clinic, I grabbed some pen and paper to wrote ”stay here” on it, but she just pouted, glared at me and grabbed my arm. Ugh, how pleased I would be to just leave her here and go have a break, but she just wouldn't let go of me. Miss Alice even said, ”Have some consideration, she’s just sad that her boyfriend wants to leave her when she has an injury.” This... I am not... I told her that, but she reacted with a ”Yes, yes.” together with a few nods, was she even listening?
I had no choice but to stay in the clinic until Miss Alice finished treating Mallory. When we went to have a break Raphael asked why she had a tissue on her nose and I explained how she slipped up and fell with her face, I also told them how she wouldn’t let go of me at the clinic and Miss Alice’s reaction about it, Gabriel was laughing so hard about it that one would think I am telling them a comedic story, but it’s not funny at all, it’s hella annoying.
”Well, you can’t help that.” Raphael commented.
”Yes, our icy cold Michael just wasn’t able to leave this beautiful injured girl alone, how could he?” Gabriel added jestingly.
Mallory didn’t seem to have a specific course taken, and if she’s going to be this clumsy it’ll be better to just leave her with Raphael. This is what I told them. Mallory had no protest and Raphael was willing to take care of her.
”I’ll leave her to you then.”
