Feeling of owning

Decision

                    Elsa's POV

Waking up to my alarm the first thing I decided was to visit Lily and let her know what my decision is. I took a shower and changed into a lavender sundress. After breakfast I drove to Lily's apartment. I was about to knock on the door but Lily beat me to do it by opening it and threw her arms around me pulling for a hug. She look happy today and I don't plan to disappoint her either.

" Come in. We are waiting for you " she said yanking my wrist and lead to her living room.we settled on a couch she sat beside me. Ian also walk in and take a seat.

" okay. I'll be the surrogate mother of your baby " I said looking at Lily who was impatiently waiting for my decision.

" Thank you. I was sure you'll definitely agree with to this " Lily jumped from the seat took my hand in hers squeaked with happiness.

Seeing Lily's smiling face Ian smile ." Thank you Elsa".

"It's okay Ian. I'm happy that I could help you"  I replied.

"But I have a condition " I said

" what is it?  " they asked me in unison.

" My only condition to this surrogacy is no one should know about this other than three of us.Not even your brother. I'm doing this only for Lily's happiness and I don't want any complications in this"  I stated. Gregorys are well known family here and always attract media.

" oh, don't worry we had already decided not to tell  Jacob about this. You know about the Will  and we can't risk it telling to him as our father's lawyer is a friend of him. Any news about this out could cause us damage" said Ian.

"Then this is it. Now we need to find a doctor" said Lily

"Why not the one who treated you before? " I asked Lily confused.

" No. We can't. He is a good friend of Jacob " Lily replied.

" Oh" I remember the day Lily was in hospital and me saw Jacob talking to the doctor.

Ian suggested one of his friend's wife who is well known in IVF  treatment. He leave us take his phone from his pants pocket calling his friend. After 20 minutes he came back informed us he already made an appointment with the doctor tomorrow morning.

'Ian's words made me nervous. I know I had made my decision. I'm ready for this and not ready at the same time. Tomorrow. It's so soon. But the rays of hope I saw in their eyes made me strong. After chatting with them for a few minutes and lunch with them I left their apartment. They told me they will pick me tomorrow to the hospital.

On my way back to my apartment I stopped the shop to check the work in progress. It's going well.

Back in home I took a shower and changed into my night gown. I had some fruits and milk as dinner and sat with my laptop on my bed working on some designs till sleep got me.

Currently we're at the hospital where Ian's friend's wife, Dr. Anne Fernandez working. Ian had already talked to her. After some test on me and Ian,  we were told to wait till the result.

Dr. Fernandez informed us we're perfectly fine once the test results came. She told us about ivf treatment and suggested next week for the insemination as  it is convenient for us as well as her. After fixed the day we left the hospital. Lily seemed happy and excited. They dropped me my apartment and drove away saying bye.

Next week.

Lily,me and Ian are waiting outside Dr. Fernandez room for our turn. Like last time Lily seemed happy and excited where me and Ian, well we looked nervous obviously. Nurse called my name and we entered the room. Dr. Fernandez smiled at us gestured to take our seat.

"Are you ready Elsa? Any doubt? " she asked.

I looked at her smiling weakly. We cleared some doubts regarding insemination and she answered them.

She assured us there is nothing to worry about as she had performed many with success results.

The nurse came from the next room informing us everything is ready. Dr. Fernandez told me to follow her and Lily and Ian to wait there. I followed her and changed into hospital gown.

"I see you are nervous " Dr. Fernandez said the obvious.

" Uh, I..."I stuttered

"Dear, don't be nervous. It won't hurt and only take a few minutes " " just lay down on the bed and relax " she told me. 

'Relax'' my  heart is beating like a drum and my palms are sweating. I feel like I am going to pass out. I shut my eyes tight taking some deep breath and calm myself down. Opening my eyes I saw Dr. Fernandez looking at me. She pat my shoulder as I laid down. The nurse helped me the position as required. 

"Are you ready? " she asked again. I just nodded my head in reply. 

I feel some movements between my legs and close my eyes.

After a few minutes Dr. Fernandez told me it's done but I need to lay down for sometime and can take a nap even.

A tap on my shoulder wake me. "you can go now"  nurse said.

I got up changed to my dress and went out. Lily and Ian patiently waiting for me out side. They already collected my vitamin tablets and also fixed my next check up date.

Dr. Fernandez advised me dos and don'ts for a while and we left.

Lily insisted she will stay with me for the next few days. Ian agreed as he is going for a business trip. Ian drop us my apartment after getting Lily's clothes from their home and said bye to us.
