Pregnant

"Congratulations,  you are Pregnant"  Dr. Fernandez 's words ringing in my ears again and again.' Wow . I am pregnant. ' Her lips curved to a small smile and her eyes filled with tears. She is happy and sad at the same time hence the baby is not hers to keep. She snapped out of her trance when Lily jumped from the seat and pulled her for a hug showing all her joy and gratitude.

"Congratulations Elsa ". " Wow we are Pregnant "Lily beamed.

" Congratulations. Yeah!  We are.. Pregnant" she whispered the last part. 'We are Pregnant' she thought Lily's words repeatedly touching her belly. Yes it's their baby. So many things run through her mind in a flash.

" Now that you are Pregnant, I must tell you that you may start to feel the early symptoms like nausea, dizziness, morning sickness which may vary depending and followed by mood swings craving. It's not same for all"  Dr. Fernandez stated. She also told me the do's and don'ts  early stage.

Dr. Fernandez handed me some medicine and told the next check up day.

"Thank you Dr. " I said. Lily is smiling ear to ear from the moment the Dr. confirmed my- our pregnancy.

" It's a pleasure dear. Congratulations once again " Dr. Fernandez  said with her usual smiling face.

" I think I should call Ian now " with that Lily took her phone out of her purse dial Ian.

" Yes. You should ".

After telling Ian the good news we drove from the hospital parking. We stop at my shop for a few minutes and to my apartment for our celebration. Ian was busy these days but agree to join us later.

She woke up late in the morning . she pushed the blanket away from her and got on to her feet. Last night was fun. They had  dinner and movie time together. Lily took the kitchen in control and prepared all her favorite dishes. Lily wanted to stay but Ian has some important meeting to attend early in the morning so they left after dinner and movie. After a quick shower she dressed into a peach tank top,  jeans and canvas . She headed to kitchen to get something to eat she made pancakes. Pouring some chocolate syrup on the pancakes, she sat on the chair ate her breakfast. She was not a big fan of chocolate before  but now she started to like to have it. All thanks to Lily. She stored plenty of them make her options limited to chocolate. Whatever.

Cleaning her dishes she went back to her bedroom to took her phone from the night stand checked her texts. Locking her apartment before grabbing her car key she drove to her shop.

Today is a busy day like the past days. Her assistants are busy attending customers. She already made arrangements for the delivery of dresses except Jacob's. She prefers to personally deliver them to Jacob and see him! She don't know why she likes to see him whenever there is a chance. Personally delivering his suit is the best chance she could get. After attending some customers,she picked the garment bag containing his suit which is in gray color and decided to go to Jacob's office.

The whole ride she was confused at first whether to drop it at the reception and inform his secretary,later decided against it. She took the elevator to his office. Stepped out of the elevator her heart skip the beat as she came face to face with Jacob. It seems like he was waiting for her to arrive.

" Hello Mr. Gregory"

" Hello Ms. Johnson!? "He was surprised to see her obviously. He is in a black three piece suit with a sky blue shirt underneath it.

" Um. Your suit was ready. Here" she said try to conceal her nervousness.

" Oh. Thank you. But you didn't need to come all the way here to just deliver this" he stated the obvious taking the garment bag from her giving it to his secretary.

"Actually. It just I need to visit some one near so I thought of personally deliver it, hope I'm  not wasting your time. You are going to somewhere? " she asked him shyly.

" No. No. I just arrived after a meeting. If you are not in a hurry, come in" he said  walked into his office. I followed him not knowing.

" Please take a seat" he sat on his chair.

" Thanks " she said taking a seat.

His office was beautiful. His desk was in front of the huge floor to ceiling glass window. There are cupboard nearly arranged in one side of the wall. There is a large white couch in one corner of the room. Curtains are either white or gray in color like the other interiors in the room.

"  I hope your business doing well" he said looking at her. His brown eyes piercing through her blue ones.

" Yeah. Thank you for the support and the building. I hope you would like..the suit. Looking forward to work with you again"  she replied feeling the intense gaze on her unable to meet him.

" I will. Hopefully soon " he smiled and his eyes shine.

She stood up"  I think I shou" she couldn't finish what she was saying as she felt dizzy and fainted. Before  closing her eyes she felt two strong arms grab her from falling to the floor.

"MS. Johnson, are you alright? "  She heard Jacob voice. Opening her eyes she see Jacob's brown eyes again but this time with concern and worry.

She is laying on the couch in Jacob's office. Jacob is sitting beside her. His one hand is on her head caressing her hair. Other hand holding her hand. Finding his proximity, her cheeks flushed.

" Yeah. I. I'm fine " she answered getting up to sit. She tugged her hair shyly behind her ear.

"  Here. Drink some water" he told her gave a glass of water looking concerned.

She take the glass from him sipping it and muttered " Thank you" lowering my gaze as the blush colored her cheeks.

" you alright?  Are you sure? Why you fainted? " he asked again, his eyebrows knitted.

" yes. I'm fine" I nodded. "It. It's just the stress.work stress. Yeah. You know it is not easy to manage a business. Big or small" she blabbered not wanting him to know the real reason for her fainted. She stood up " I think I should leave now. Thank you" she said walked to the door.

" Take care" He said with a smirk.

"Bye. Have a nice day Mr. Gregory " she said leaving the office and stormed towards the elevator.
