Wednesday, 17th; Early morning
Caroline sat perched on the kitchen counter in her shortest dressing gown eating yoghurt. Warmed by her shower and the brilliant morning sun streaming through the window, she savoured the chilled sweet taste as she flicked idly through her ‘phone.
Joe wandered in mumbling a smiled hello. Caroline pointed to the cup of coffee and toast she had made for him. His grunt of pleasure made her laugh.
