Nick’s POV   I think about her when I fall asleep, I dream about her, and I wake up thinking about her. And, okay, touching myself. I’ve never been this happy before. I’ve never had something this good to think about all the time. For years, the thoughts hanging over me have been shrouded in pain and darkness—thoughts of my dead father; thoughts of my cruel kingdom; thoughts of my mother’s pain and suffering, and of the second marriage I’ve never been certain she wanted. Sometimes I thought about Sabrina or the other women I dated, but never like this. Never anything like this. I glance at the clock, disappointed to see that it’s already well past time for her morning archery session. It’s probably about the time she’ll be coming inside for breakfast, though.
