“Do you really think it was worth it, little princess? Letting your uncle die? Do you not understand that I can just as easily threaten someone else you care about?”
I glare up at Caine, seething with hatred. “You already killed Archer,” I growl at him. “Now you’ve killed Vance. Who’s next?”
“Well, I’ve already sent for her,” he says cheerfully. “So you won’t have long to wait.”
