“Twenty grand, I swear it's all I have," the bartender I hired Trembled like a rat under my feet. Ryan smacked his head with a bat and he fell flat on the ground, unconscious. “Oops, my hand couldn't stand his lies." I narrowed my eyes at him and sighed in exhaustion. Ryan was never the type to listen before acting. He took violence to another level and made sure to terrify everyone one of his victims before sending them to their graves. Thieves were people I couldn't stand. The bartender had adamantly lied about stealing some of the club's funds even when he was clearly caught on camera. “He was going to die anyway. You just made it painless, asshole," Vincent grumbled tired of Ryan like I was. Vincent was the quiet type but what lurked within him was far more dangerous than a hunting beast. Born and brought up in a wealthy power controlling families, the three of us were set out to rule the campus. It was like our mini chessboard mirroring society. Our families were power circuits and since we were the next generation to take up the mantle of dominance, it was our duty to keep order in minor sectors like the university. My family owns the school. I rule everything in and out of the school's premises. Even the school's chancellor was underneath me. While Vincent's family owned chains of pharmaceutical companies, Ryan's family dealt with importation, my family were massive in oil wells and other businesses. The Blackwood family maintained a high status in the public and was never related to lowborn. However, ever since I met that little wrecker who brought my Rolex, I have been unable to think straight. I found myself wanting to torment her every time. Staring at the cam record that caught the bartender stealing, I was mesmerized by the shabby girl by the corner. She was struggling to fit into the unholy ground of blasting music. But only ended singling herself out in her tight red dress that almost made me go insane when I met her last night. Silvia Johnson, I knew everything about her thanks to my late night research. She was the last child of Johnson's family. Her father was on the verge of being bankrupt and her mother was nothing but an accessory. I could easily crush them if I wanted to. But then she had an older sister, Lydia Johnson, the school's cheer captain and Ryan's last hook up. Judging from the exquisite looks of the older sister, I could tell Silvia was neglected. Knowing that made me feel glad. I am not ashamed of it to claim that I am a sadist and I enjoy others in pain. But I won't dispose of Silvia so easily. She has managed to capture my attention without effort. The little detail of her dress hunched up a bit below her ass made blood rush down to my c**k. She had turned down my invitation to spend the night on my glorious bed every woman has dreamed to be on. Her rejection was under expected and it made me want to hunt her even more. Girls like her were fun to unravel. “What are you looking at with such delightful eyes?" Ryan snatched the tablet out of my hand and looked at the video which was on replay. A frown creased between his brows when he found nothing exciting about the video. He was to dumb to notice the little red kitten by the side. And I liked it that way. I got up from the armchair in our living room and snatched my tablet back from him. The three of our shared a mansion on the hill side of campus away from other students. Our families thought it necessary since our social skills were only meant for people of our class. “You guys can clean up after having fun. I have something important to do." And that something important is none other than hunting Silvia Johnson. Vincent nonchalantly glanced at me as if he knew what I was up to. “Don't get to carried away. Things on the outside will forever remain on the outside," he warned, reminding me of our families strict rule. I tapped his shoulder and muttered,“I know that." With that, I left the mansion and went down to the little apartment Silvia lodged in with her roommate Justina. She'd be terrified if I told her I found out all I need to know about her in just an hour including her family home. By the end of the road leading to her apartment, I parked my car and sat in silence waiting for her to show up in any minute. She had this routine of running every evening once it was six. Such information was easy to get by hacking her phone and checking her i********: page that was full of boring nature posts. Once it was sharp six, she ran out of her apartment in white shorts and a blue tank top with matching snickers. Her hair was neatly tied up in a ponytail and anchored with a headset. I stepped out of my car and followed her a few distance behind. She ran with the wind, not slow not too fast. When she stopped to tie her shoe lace, a stary kitten jumped out of the bushes. She patted the thing and gave it some snack which I had not noticed she was carrying. After being an unpaid caretaker, she resumed with her laps. She only stopped when she reached the end of the street then turned to take the part down the forest. A smile spread across my face as she lingered into the woods. My favorite part of being a hunter was chasing a prey without it noticing especially in the woods where beasts hid in shadows. Sensing someone was following her, she glanced over her shoulder and quickened her steps only to trip on a fallen branch. I used her short distraction to cover the distance between us. “We meet again, little kitten," I said, hovering above her with a menacing aura that made her quiver.
