Ellie’s POV. I woke up feeling like my head was being crushed. The pain pulsed at my temples. My whole body ached. I didn’t even need to look around to know where I was. The color of the walls and familiar scent of perfume were enough for me to tell. I knew this place. It looked like my bedroom. Although I was feeling weak, I forced myself to sit up. I dragged myself out of the bed and stood on shaky legs. When I turned my head, I saw my photos on the wall. Pictures of me smiling at birthday parties, graduation, school dances. My knees nearly buckled. This was my room. I was home. But how? How did I get here? The pain in my head grew stronger as my memories started to come back.
