Raven's fright

1427 Words
Raven's eyes shot open, shock etched on her face. Her body began to tremble uncontrollably as she struggled to maintain her balance, overwhelmed by fear. With a thud, she fell hard onto the ground. Though the golden-haired man named Levi instilled a sense of terror within her, it was the woman who emerged through the portal right after that truly terrified her. As Raven tried to catch her breath, her voice quivered, "D...De...Delilah." A voice, both commanding and soothing, broke through the chaos. "Hush now, my love. There's no need to be frightened of me." The woman, with her pale skin, raven hair, and piercing red eyes, leaned in close to Raven, her red lips glistening, her fangs caught in the light. Her beauty was ethereal, yet a sense of danger radiated from her very being. Raven's voice quivered as she spoke, desperation evident in her tone. "She... she's on her way to Tarsus now. I've done as you asked, Levi. Please, I'm begging you, let my pack go. They've suffered enough already, please," she pleaded, her words half-screamed in a mix of fear and desperation. Her heart pounded in her chest as she felt the overwhelming presence of the captivating Demoness, Delilah, standing close by. Levi's expression remained unchanged, his face a mask devoid of emotion. "Okay," he replied simply, his voice calm and collected. Raven's voice trembled as she asked, tears streaming down her face, "A-Are you really going to let them go?" Levi's response came with the same stoic demeanor. "Yes," he confirmed, his face offering no hint of what lay beneath. Overwhelmed with relief, she crawled backward, her gratitude pouring out. She bowed deeply, displaying her utmost and deepest gratitude towards Levi. Yet, her caution remained as she stole wary glances at the figure standing beside him, Delilah. Delilah's voice dripped with disdain as she taunted, "You lycans are so pathetic." A seductive smile played on her lips as she slowly approached Raven, her hips swaying in a mesmerizing rhythm. Fear consumed Raven, pushing her to retreat until her back was pressed against the corner of the bathroom, trapped by Delilah's presence. "Delilah, pl... please," Raven's plea trailed off as Delilah's tongue began a sinister journey, starting from her face and trailing towards her chest. Raven froze in place, unable to move, terrified that any sudden movement might further provoke Delilah. Ignoring Raven's terror, Delilah turned her attention to Levi. With a tantalizing gesture, she brought out her tongue, rolling it seductively in Levi's direction. Levi, however, remained unaffected, his eyes fixed on a different goal. Without sparing Delilah a single glance, he headed back towards the portal. "She must be brought alive," Levi declared, his voice firm and resolute, just before he stepped into the portal. "Wait, I can't possibly protect her alone. I thought you came to take her. Why wait?" Raven's voice trembled with panic, desperation filling her words. "Hush now, my love. No need to panic," Delilah whispered soothingly, her voice laced with seduction. Raven felt a shiver crawl down her spine as Delilah's hand slipped towards her already wet core. "You're already wet?" Delilah purred, a seductive smile playing on her lips. "Don't worry, my love. One of us is already among you." The revelation struck Raven with surprise, her eyes widening in disbelief. "One...one of you?" She stuttered, but Delilah had vanished, leaving no trace behind. The portal had vanished as well, leaving her alone. She slumped to the ground, tears streaming down her face, feeling utterly abandoned. Moments later, a knock echoed through the door, causing her to startle. ***** "Why can't we just take the girl now, Levi?" Delilah's voice rang out, confusion and frustration filling her words. "Weren't we supposed to take her? Why wait? I don't understand." Levi's response came with an air of indifference. "Insignificant," he stated flatly, dismissing her concerns. "What the f**k does that mean? How is it insignificant for me to know your plans? I was told to watch you, to be aware of every move you make. You are cunning, Levi, so I'm sure you've already figured it out. Keeping us in the dark again will only make things worse for you. I'm trying to help, damn it," Delilah snapped, her frustration boiling over. Levi remained unfazed, comfortably sitting on an exquisitely crafted sofa, his legs crossed and his elbows resting on the sofa's arms. His knuckles supported his chin as he leaned forward, observing Delilah with a blank expression. Seeing his poker face, Delilah's annoyance grew. "Tsk... f**k you, Levi, Damien awakens tomorrow. You should do your part for the preparations," she spat angrily, storming out of the room. "My part," Levi whispered to himself, sinking into deep thought as he reclined back, contemplating his next move. ***** Raven jolted awake, her cheeks wet with tears. Hastily wiping them away, she took a deep breath and mustered the strength to open the door. Seraphina, visibly concerned for her well-being, spoke up. "You've been in here for quite a while now, darling. Are you alright?" Her tone carried genuine worry. Raven nodded, offering a forced smile. "Um, yes, I'm fine, I'm just not used to flying." She lied smoothly, hoping to hide her true emotions. Seraphina eyebrows furrowed slightly, a hint of suspicion in her voice. "Is that so?" "Yes, it's okay, I'll get used to it," She assured with a smile. Trying to divert Seraphina's attention, she asked hesitantly, "Do... you know anyone named Levi?" Seraphina tilted her head, a contemplative expression on her face. Her thumb gently caressed her chin, as if deep in thought. "Levi...," she repeated. "No, it doesn't ring a bell. Why? Who is he?" "No one," Raven quickly responded, her voice laced with urgency. Without further hesitation, she hurried out of the bathroom. Surprisingly, Seraphina didn't seem bothered by Raven's abrupt departure. She sighed softly, a knowing smile forming on her alluring lips. ******** In the ancient kingdom of Zordiac, a realm that had withstood the test of time for over 10,000 years, a towering figure with jet-black hair stood poised atop the Zordiac castle. Dressed in a black ensemble, he surveyed the outwardly beautiful kingdom nestled in the cold, snowy region of East Britannia. The entire landscape exuded serenity, with vast expanses of snow covering the land. Zordiac, perched on colossal plateau-like mountains, boasted towering structures that seemed to absorb the darkness of the night, adding to its ancient and tranquil ambiance. "Alpha Lucian," a man in his mid-30s addressed the imposing figure. "Speak, Beta," Lucian responded with a commanding tone that resonated power and authority befitting an Alpha. "Alpha, we have located the girl. She landed in Tarsus a few minutes ago, just as Gamma Chris reported. There is indeed a young lycan with her, belonging to the pack that fell victim to those wretched demons." "your theory," Lucian demanded, his voice tinged with expectation. "Alpha, I believe the demons have taken control of her, using her pack as a means to manipulate her," the young beta explained earnestly. "We leave now," Lucian commanded with unwavering authority. "You can leave this to me, Alpha. There's no need for you to get involved," the beta suggested, attempting to take charge. Lucian let out a gentle sigh, turning to face his beta. He walked forward, emanating a majestic presence, and placed a hand on his beta's shoulder. "Listen, Gabriel. We lycans are on the brink of extinction," Lucian spoke with a tinge of sadness in his voice. "Thanks to the witches, we have discovered a way to turn this endless horror, this millennia-long bloodbath, in our favor." He paused a glint of pain evident in his voice "For the first time in lycan history, we can shift from a defensive stance to an offensive one. If what the witches say is true, we might finally have the chance to put an end to that damned immortal Damien. This is our moment; I will not let it slip away. Besides, Tarsus is the home of those filthy demons, and you'll need my help." "I understand, Lucian," Gabriel replied knowing it was impossible to change his alpha's mind. "I'll make sure everything is ready. We should arrive in Tarsus within 40 minutes, Alpha." "Good. Take only a few men. We need to approach this with utmost stealth," Lucian instructed. Gabriel nodded and bowed slightly, showing his respect for his alpha. "We will win the war, Alpha," he added confidently before taking his leave from Lucian who was once again left alone with his thoughts.
