Chapter 4

392 Words
I woke Daniel and told him I had found a massage therapist to give him a massage, saying it might help with his recovery. I did not dare tell him the truth. I was afraid he would refuse the moment he heard it. Daniel didn't suspect anything. He got up, changed his clothes, and waited. A little while later, Ryan came into the bedroom with his massage kit and began giving Daniel a massage. His technique was unusual, but it seemed effective. Soon, Daniel was breathing heavily, covered in sweat, and making low sounds of relief. I had not seen him in such good condition for a long time. At just the right moment, Ryan withdrew his hands and said to Daniel, "The massage is finished. You can see how you feel now. I'll step out." Daniel immediately grabbed my hand and pulled me to the bedside. Before I could react, he drew me into his arms with an urgency I had not felt from him in months. Though he could not see, his strength was still great. I could barely break free. His hands moved over me with a desperate familiarity, and very quickly, my breath grew unsteady. Then, from the corner of my eye, I realized that Ryan had not left the room. He was standing there, watching me with an intensity that made my entire body tense. At that moment, Daniel was too caught up in his own emotions to notice anything. I instinctively wanted to cover myself and regain control, but Daniel held me firmly, pulling me closer until I had no room to retreat. Ryan's gaze grew darker. He stepped forward and quietly steadied me from behind, forcing me into an unbearably intimate position without making a sound. I was trapped between them, overwhelmed by shame, panic, and a kind of dangerous tension I did not dare acknowledge. Daniel's breathing was close in front of me, while Ryan's presence pressed in from behind. The air in the room seemed to grow hotter with every passing second. I knew I could not speak. If I did, Daniel might hear something wrong in my voice. And Ryan clearly knew that too. So he became bolder. He leaned close to my ear and whispered in a voice so soft only I could hear, "Hold it in. Keep your voice down."
