NATASHA’S POV
I decided to rest on the bench, a little further from where my friends were. Ashton told me before that he used to watch me by the poolside from this spot. He was right when he said that when the lights were out, it would be hard to notice that someone was sitting on that bench. This spot is partly hidden by plants from the poolside.
I looked at all the decorations on the poolside that extended to the gazebo and rewound in my head the events that took place earlier. Though I spent my birthday away from my parents, who I had a video call with earlier, I can say that this is one of the best birthdays I have had. My heart is just filled with so much gratitude just watching my friends who have started to talk in pairs. I sat on the bench and enjoyed eating the cone of ice cream
