Tasha is right. At 34, going out to a party on a weekend is not my thing anymore. If it's up to me, I'd rather stay home. Or I'd rather spend it on out-of-town trips or engage in some active sports, like hiking, camping, water rafting, and running. I outgrew my partying-and-drinking-on-a-weekend phase when I was 28.
After lunch, her friends went out to shop for clothes. Tasha went back to her room and mentioned getting part of her thesis done, or else she couldn't have fun tonight. So, as much as I wanted to bug her, I decided to let her stay in her room. I do not want to spoil her mood and regret it later. I wanted her to trust me again. So that she can open up to me like she used to.
