WILLIAM'S POV
"What?" I whispered, trying to make sure I heard well. "Jules is your what?"
"I said..." She heaved a long sigh. "I said that Jules is my.... my... my girlfriend."
"Goodness!" Mom exclaimed, massaging her temples with her fingers. She probably couldn't believe what her daughter was saying. After shaking her head for a few seconds, she looked up and said "So she's the boyfriend or what?" The sarcasm in my mother's voice was enough to make me laugh.
"Mom just stop already." I closed my laughing mouth with my palm.
"So when did you know?" She wrinkled her nose at Lily, trying to not show her actual dislike for the whole situation. That was most certainly done in order not to hurt her. "I mean, when did you realize your special preference?"
"It has been over four years now
