The past month had been amazing, I couldn't lie. At first, I was skeptical about leaving Miami and coming for William. I was worried my 'try to make your marriage work' plan wouldn't work, being at such a distance away from Damien. Not like there was anything more to it though, I just wanted to make my marriage tolerable. But then, my fears were put at bay since the moment I stepped foot in New York. He had kept calling from the time I boarded the plane, till when I landed, and even up until now.
