I rang the doorbell and mom was at the door in no time. The moment she looked up and saw it was me, she released a breathe.
"Lana?"
"Mom." I replied, making my way into the house.
"I wasn't.... you don't return home so early. Is everything fine?"
"Everything is fine." I muttered, before shaking my head in negation. "No! Infact everything is wonderful. My life is wonderful. I have the best parent in you mom, and I'm so sorry for the pain I've caused you lately with my inability to see that you were also hurt from everything that transpired between you and my father."
