From Vanessa's point of view
Before I sat down in the dining room, I looked at the seat very carefully. After all, the triplets could even place something sharp on the cushion to hurt me.
However, when I pursed my lips, James' voice came through, “You act like we're planning something bad,” he said with a mocking tone.
I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and sighed, "I'm sorry" I said with embarrassment.
I felt silly for just standing there staring at the seat without even realizing that everyone at the table was watching me, at that I just nodded and sat down with a calm expression.
After a few minutes the doors to the dining room opened and several omegas came in with trays of food. Each of them served the plates of the triplets, alpha and luna, while my plate was still empty.
I knew that as a guest in the mansion I could not make demands, but I felt a lump in my throat when the Omegas left the dining room without passing me.
At that moment luna looked me in the eyes and smiled "I hope you know that the omegas only serve the high ranks" she said.
"I know" I said while I controlled my tears.
From one day to the next my whole world had changed, but this pack had welcomed me, so with a smile I started to serve my food. however, when I was about to take a piece of silverware and start to taste the food, the voice of one of the triplets was heard.
"I'd like you to pour me some wine, would you mind?" said James mischievously.
I looked at him smiling and nodded before refilling his glass. However, just as I was about to go back to eating, a loud voice was heard coming into the dining room.
"f**k, why didn't anyone wake me up?"
"Camila, you're late again?" said Luna looking sternly at Camilla.
"I know, it's just that..." camila stopped as her gaze stopped on me and she sits just two chairs away from my seat "I can't believe it, it's Vanessa? I was told that she was a rogue" she said in a surprised voice.
When I heard those words my eyes widened like two plates. Rogue? That's what I was in this pack? Oh my gosh... I was much less than an omega!
"Camila! Stop it!" the booming voice of Alpha Roderick was suddenly heard.
"What? Did I say something wrong? Or is it a lie that she's a rogue?" Camilla said with a strange look on her face.
Without even listening to her words, my eyes turned red and a couple of tears slid down my cheeks as I looked down at my plate.
"I... I'm not hungry, but, thank you very much for dinner. If you allow me, I would like to go to my room" I said trying to control my feelings.
At that instant alpha and luna exchanged glances, and even seemed to be having a conversation through the mind link. However, alpha roderick's expression was not one of excitement, contrary to that, he looked irritated.
"One moment, Vanessa" said Luna "We'd like to talk to you... it's about your stay here, you must pay us".
When I heard those words I opened my eyes in confusion. Did I hear wrong?
"Agreement of payment for my stay?" I asked dumbfounded.
"Yes, you are a rogue, and you being in the alpha mansion puts the pack in a dubious position... so you will have to work for us" said luna seriously.
I nodded not knowing what else to do. I just kept listening to her with my fists clenched under the table.
"You will work with the omegas, you start at 5 am" she said.
"As ordered, luna" I said softly.
My gaze was steady, after all, I had nowhere else to go.

From James's point of view
When I heard what my mother said, my eyes widened in surprise. My mother really degraded Vanessa as an omega? I couldn't believe what I had heard.
I looked at Vanessa with her red cheeks, I could feel the pain in her eyes, but still she stood her ground and just nodded her head before walking out of the dining room.
When her figure disappeared, I quickly turned my gaze to my mother and then to my siblings. all three of us had the same confused expression. It was clear that none of the three of us wanted Vanessa to work as an omega.
"ok, since no one is able to talk, I'll do it... what the f**k is this?" insinuated camila with her irritating voice.
"camila!" said my mother looking at her coldly.
Camilla was our cousin, the only one who lived in the alpha mansion. She had not met her mate yet, but everybody knew that she would be some alpha of a powerful pack.
However, she was a very polite girl and always spoke her mind, which is why her mother had sent her here to learn how to be an ideal Luna.
"No! Stop it! Don't you see what this poor girl is going through? I mean, aunt, her whole family was kicked out of her own pack! and now you will humiliate her even more? This is completely stupid!" she insinuated leaving us all dumbfounded.
When my siblings and I heard that, we all let out a light smile, after all, she had inadvertently read our minds.
"Camila, be quiet! This is what a luna does!" said my mother.
"No!" shouted camille getting up from the table with a gasp "If this is being a luna, then they are stupid!"
Without even hearing any answers, Camila left the dining room slamming the door loudly.
