She turned on her side and laid her arm across his stomach. “What did David Allen really want?” she demanded. “He brought the cake up from Leslie.” Surprise edged his tone. “You ate some.” Hana released a snort of derision. “I’m not stupid, Logan. You told him about Tama, didn’t you?” “Might have.” Logan yawned and his body stiffened until the movement ended with a sigh. “And he might have agreed to check out a few ideas.” “What ideas?” Hana rested her chin on his chest and gazed up at him. He pressed a kiss against her forehead. “I’ll tell you if he turns up anything.” His eyes narrowed and his lips formed a tight line. “You’re looking tired and I’m worried about you. Please, just leave the Tama thing to me.”
