I woke slowly, like surfacing from deep water. My body was warm, cocooned in something solid and safe. For a moment, I thought I was alone with him. Just me and Wolf, wrapped in the quiet aftermath of another storm. His arms were around me, strong and steady, and I was pressed against him more than usual—my cheek resting over his heart, my legs tangled with his. I could feel his breath, slow and even, like he hadn’t moved all night. Like he’d stayed exactly where I needed him. I didn’t want to move. Didn’t want to break the spell. But then I noticed something else. A weight at my feet. Familiar. Protective. I blinked and shifted just enough to see them—Matteo and Salvatore, curled at the foot of the bed, each with an arm draped over my legs like they were guarding me in their sleep. M
