SOMEONE KNOCKS AT the PR office entrance. Parker checks the peephole and opens the door. “Burney. Davis. Come in. You’ve got an update?”
“Yes, sir. We have eleven SEALs ready for duty. I arranged for a passenger van to pick them up at the Sacramento International Airport at 1900. They’ll arrive around 2015.”
“Excellent job, you two. We’ll bring them in through the back entrance. Once they’re on the road, instruct them to call Gruner. Here, let me give you his burner number.” The admiral writes down the number and hands it to Burney. “He’ll direct the SEALs to this private entrance. The van will return to Sacramento, and Security Forces will transport the SEALs to their quarters.”
“Davis and I would like to join the Security Forces and meet them, sir.”
