THE GENERAL WALKS over to Jim and Donna. “Where do we stand in terms of the documentation?”
Jim glances up. “We’re making excellent progress, sir. I reckon we’ll finish by end of day.”
“You’ll have all the information cataloged and organized into a binder?”
“Yes, sir.”
“How long would it take to make 15 copies?”
“If we can use the copier in the OPS center, we can complete the job tonight, sir.”
“Let me make a call.” The general retrieves his cell. “Gruner, how’s it going?”
“Slow progress with Sullivan, sir.”
“No surprise there. Hang in. We need 15 copies of the case documentation. The OPS copier offers the best on the base for such a large project. Can you let Jim and Donna use the copier so we can get this done tonight?”
“For sure, sir. I can add it all to flash drive
