The couple walked through the door Devon was holding open. "Thank you." The man said.
"You're very welcome." Devon kindly said back.
I caught up to Devon. "I'm so excited!" I announced to him cheerily. He smiled back at me with satisfaction. I didn't want to tell him how much I actually hate going to the movies. I didn't want to ruin the little double date we were having. So I played along.
Halfway through the movie, Devon reached over and grabbed my hand. I squealed inside from happiness. I hadn't held hands with a guy before and especially not in a movie theater.
