“Conrad will be back this afternoon,” I announced to the group. “So this will be my last time leading the morning meeting. Thank you all so much for your support this past week and a half, it’s been my pleasure to get the day started with all of you.” I dismissed everyone after I delivered this little end-of-meeting speech, feeling a rush of relief.
