LOVE AND BATTLE BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
Chapter 1 :
It’s the dense forest, where the profound silence is broken only by the gentle rustling of leaves, crafting an unnerving atmosphere where one's heart might cease in the pin-drop quiet. Towering trees loom overhead, their massive branches intimidating in the darkness, concealing the sky from view below.
Amidst the thick darkness and eerie atmosphere, a sorcerer sat before a blazing fire, chanting ancient mantras and tossing ingredients that fueled the flames to towering heights. Across from the fire, a middle-aged man of around 50 years sat, his presence unwavering in the unsettling surroundings. His eyes glinted with malice and unwavering determination, driven by a relentless craving to achieve his elusive goal.
Next to the crackling fire, a wooden cot held a small, unconscious girl of around five years. Her naked form was covered in sandalwood powder, with her face adorned in turmeric powder and a dot of kumkum placed between her eyes.
Amidst his chants , the sorcerer turned his gaze towards the small girl, whispering words that caused her to rise to her feet, eyes closed, and move towards the fire. Standing beside it with palms joined, she awaited his command. As the sorcerer concluded his chants with a sweeping gesture, the little girl leaped into the flames. In an instant, without a sound, she transformed into ashes, consumed by the fire.
After the girl had turned to ashes, the sorcerer sprinkled a few drops of water onto the fire and onto the middle-aged man seated across from him. Then, with a sinister smile on his face, the sorcerer growled the name of the person.
“Rudra…!”.
Rudrendra, the man sitting across from the sorcerer, was swept away by the overwhelming joy of completing the task without interruption, bringing him a step closer to realizing the dream he had long cherished. Hearing the sorcerer growl, he immediately responded, calling out his name.
“Yes, Andhaka!”, yelled Rudrendra, his voice filled with overwhelming joy.
“Rudra! You are on the brink of your dream coming true. Let us complete two more offerings of little girls to the goddess, and you will achieve ultimate success. You will be the ruler of the universe, commanding not only human powers but also supernatural forces. Everything will be under your command. Are you happy?”, roared Andhaka, his voice like thunder.
“Andhaka! I trust you to make me the ruler of this universe. You will be my guide once I ascend to power. But I fear disturbances during the offerings or someone interrupting our mission. Can you create a protective barrier to prevent anyone from shattering our dreams?”, inquired Rudrendra. Though his voice was filled with enthusiasm at the prospect of becoming a ruler, a tinge of fear crept into his tone.
Andhaka laughed heartily at Rudrendra's words, his laughter echoing through the quiet atmosphere. He roared,“These offerings will not cease until I complete this worship. No one dares to interrupt our rituals. Anyone foolish enough to try will meet instant death upon entering my domain. If there is anyone who thinks they can disrupt my worship, they must come from another world. No one can defy me!”. Andhaka's words resonated through the dense forest, carrying his unwavering confidence.
Rudrendra chuckled along with Andhaka as he spoke,“I have faith in your powers, but as a mere human, I fear someone might disrupt our worship”.
"Rudhra! I've told you, no one dares to challenge me. The challenger would have to come from another universe. Is there anyone capable of surpassing me? Does another universe exist that holds the person who can defeat me? I am Andhaka, undefeated. No one can overcome me. Oh, gods! Tell me, is there any power that can destroy me? If that's true, then send him to me. I will turn him to ashes with just a mere look”, Andhaka's voice rang out with arrogance and pride.
Andhaka’s voice echoed through the dense forest, carried on the rustling breeze, reaching into the vast expanse of space and reverberating repeatedly. The sound awakened a person who had been peacefully lying in a king size bed. As the words echoed like a thunderstorm, the man swiftly sat up, his eyes flashing with fury as if he had been challenged to surpass someone from an unknown world.
It's a different world called Quinonian, similar to Earth but located on another planet where the inhabitants, known as quinins, resemble humans but are taller, each standing at least six feet tall. They possess supernatural abilities in which one of them is connecting their minds with others from their planet wherever they are. The atmosphere and climate on Quinonian mirror those of Earth.
One unique attribute of the Quinins is their exceptional longlife , with a minimum lifespan of a hundred years. Even in accidents or injuries that would be fatal for humans, their brains have the ability to heal rapidly, often preventing death. The only exceptions to this extended lifespan are individuals sentenced to death by the ruling king of the planet.
The King of Quinonian aspires to dominate the universe, seeking supremacy for their world. They have attempted multiple times to gain control over Earth and make humans their slaves, but they have been repeatedly thwarted by the mysterious divine power of Earth.
The man, awakened by a strange voice he heard in his sleep, was strikingly handsome, with sharp, pointed features that instantly drew attention. Complemented by a muscular and tall physique, he resembled every girl's dream. His typically charming face now wore a mask of fury as he closed his eyes and furrowed his brow, attempting to block out the echoing voice. Clenching his fists, he fought to calm himself, his breathing quickening as he struggled with the sudden surge of turmoil within him. He scanned his surroundings for any signs of suspicion, finding his room to be as normal and familiar as ever.
Hearing the door cracking sound, the man swiftly spun his head towards it, instantly becoming alert. He yanked the gun from the nightstand and rose to his feet.
“Philian …!”.
Upon hearing the familiar voice, the man named Philian relaxed and returned the gun to its place, observing the woman who entered the room with a face full of worry.
“Rebeka! What are you doing here?”, inquired Philian, his voice cold and dominant, resonating in the room.
Rebeka glanced at Philian, hurt evident on her face from his confrontation. She gently responded,“Philian! I came to deliver a message and heard some strange sounds from your room. I couldn't ignore it, so I came in. What's wrong? Why do you look so disturbed?” Her voice carried a tone of genuine concern.
Rubbing his face with his palm, Philian shook his head in disbelief and replied with hesitation,“I don’t know what happened, but I heard a strange voice challenging me to defeat him. I don’t understand who would dare to provoke me in our own land”, his voice carrying a perplexed tone.
Placing her hand reassuringly on Philian’s shoulder, Rebeka said,“Don’t worry. I will use my magic to uncover the truth. First, let’s go meet King Edrick, who has summoned us urgently. I'm here to deliver the message and accompany you. Shall we go?”.
Nodding his head, Philian secured the gun he had taken from the nightstand at his waistband. He grabbed the jacket draped over the headrest of the chair and moved forward, with Rebeka following closely behind. They swiftly exited the room and made their way towards King Edrick's building.
In the blink of an eye, they stood in front of King Edrick, silently bowing to him in greeting. They stood erect, attentive, glancing at him, ready to hear his instructions.
